  2. Sorry RocknFish i dont know squat bout wallys but my guess on the bass is 3lb 14oz
  3. Has anyone gota hold of one of these yet? one of Bassmasters baits they featured this month in their "New Lure" section. Its got a hollow body on it but youde have to attach a rattle somewhere to complete the duty of a popper. i could be wrong but i was hoping for some feedback on a new bait design like this
  4. if your using mono, do a noose knot directly to the spinnerbait. for braid i would do a palomer. for other lures, take a look at all the new and old posts in the fishing tackle section. ive never used a swivel for a spinnerbait though
  5. sorry i got a small question not worth makin a new thread about would a rapala X-rap be a suspending jerkbait? it sits for several seconds and then slowly starts floatin up to the top.

  12. :ois your boss hiring right now???! :
  13. my first bassin' i read made me want to get a subscription, so i did. in MY CASE, they were ALWAYS late mailing them to me. ide see the new bassin in wal mart for literally a month before it ever reached my door. Another thing, they didnt tell me you dont get a magazine for all 12 months of the year. im not positive of the number, but i think you get around 6 mags a year! thats pretty slack in my opinion. Dont get me wrong though, the actually material inside the magazine is very good, they tend to focus on seasonal tactics opposed to all the other stuff i just flip by. I know your lookin for a Bass specific magazine, but In-Fisherman is an excellent choice if your also interested in other species and all types of interesting fishing information.
  14. i wish the women on the forum would give some input from their side of it.
  15. thats wild. and no snakes fell on him during the photo op. go Bill!
  16. saw this on another website. heres the chapters. 1. Don't make fun of her, ever. 2. Don't push them to do everything for themselves. 3. Encourage them. 4. Celebrate her first fish. 5. She'll probably want pictures of all of her fish, so be prepared. 6. Let them pick out their own lures. 7. If you take her into a fishing store, for god sakes, don't let her see how much you spend on lures/rod/reels unless you want to spend that much money again on presents for her. 8. You can buy her something related to fishing, but until she's really into it, don't buy it for a birthday/Christmas/anniversary present. 9. Don't kill the fish. 10. In the beginning, you can basically count out day-long fishing trips. 11. And also, don't make her catch huge fish her first couple of times going with you. (that last one, i personally find ridiculous!!) 12.Unless she specifically asks, don't overwhelm her with lots of information about fishing/lures/knots etc. 13. Go on a fishing trip with another couple. 14. Have other hobbies. (dont know about that one either....
  17. i cant watch with volume right now, but it looks like a southern mtv cribs episode (especially when you got a jon with DOUBLE trollers in the driveway, gangsta!) haha. places like that are one of a kind and come once a lifetime

  19. mattfly, maybe my post was too a mess to read. sorry i do that alot when im talkin about an idea or something As far as what you said, both the BioSonix and my idea would have underwater speakers. my idea : Record baitfish sound onto cd. Hook cd up to any reciever and then to acouple underwater speakers. Maybe mounted to the trolling motor or something. Brush

  22. heres my buddy Jordan with a Jersey lunker. Little did we know, all that green behind him was poison ivy. Guess what direction we just came from. :-[
  23. I know the word tournament is used in his original post, but shouldnt this be in general bassing or boat or tackle? i dont know, i wouldnt have known where to put it either. :-X OKAY this is what I WANNA KNOW. as far as i know the BioSonix unit is just a audio playback device with several underwater speakers, right? what if you could record the same sound that the BioSonix uses, and hook your boombox, radio, etc.. up to some underwater speakers. whats the difference between the BioSonix and that? i really hope someone can shed some light on this, ive been wondering about that idea for along time. thanks Brush
  24. please read above post thoroughly. thanks. ill be waiting outside with my gear so hurry up
