I have a Rago Generic rat on the way and a gray mini Slammer with pink tail that is a hell of a rat imitation.

Frog...toad...jointed wake baits like the Mini Slammer if there is adequate open water.

I have a 7'3 H Ethos and a 7'3 Mag Bass Castaway and love them both.

Senkos aren't durable at all. Hell, casting them kills them. I love to throw Zooms worms and find them more durable and extremely effective.

Jerks I am comfortable using the spinner. I hate the drag the cranks put on the reel. I'm more comfy on casting gear.

If there is one thing I hate doing, it's cranks on a spinning rod. I'm teaching my kiddos baitcaster to prevent them having to deal with it. It can be done, I just find it frustrating beyond belief.

I wonder if there's a way to deal that hole in the back of it and fish it without the swivel in it...

The tails are going to be attached via 3way swivel on mine...asap. I dont trust the glued in swivels.

They're sending replacements before I send mine back. Just had that discussion. I didn't know the swivels were just glued in the body. Seems cheaply done, doesn't it?

My Toadrunner tail swivel pulled out while tying it on my line after getting 2 bites on it. I'm quite upset. If they're no more durable than this, I'll make homemade propfrogs. I emailed Booyah and they want me to send the d**n thing back to them for inspection. I sent a picture that showed what happened. Should I bother spending $4 on a frog I paid $8 for?

Sounds like a plan to me. I was looking to grab a couple of wake baits anyway. The rats look like a killer deal too. I have a Bad Rat already and look to toss it asap. Small fish hit the larger baits too, don't they?

What do you normally do in ponds with them?

Ok, let me preface this by saying I am getting into the swimbait game. I have several small baits, say 1oz. I just ordered a Muskie rod, need to find a reel and some larger baits. Now, I fish from shore 99% of the time on small ponds and lakes. Most have some milfoil or some other underwater vegetation to contend with, so weedless or topwater is how I go. Having said this, I'm curious what you all would say regarding tossing a 6.75 WRS on these waters on 20lb CXX. Would it be a waste of my time or possibly be well worth it? How would you go about it?

You are in the minority here with that opinion. Which model did you try? What didn't you like?

Definitely not a rock bass, warmouth. They're different species altogether.

They aren't lying about the quantity of bearings. The quality is lacking, but the quantity is correct. When there's 3 per knob...that's a quick six...

Kastking Spartacus, $40 on ebay. Several of us on here use and abuse these reels. I've never been left high and dry. They're better than any Abu Max product, especially for the price.

I hate using FC by itself. For me, it's braid and a leader or straight braid.
