  1. I haven't had a prob with cxx and longevity. You have to get it streched back out over a few cast.
  2. So you have caught her before?? Good call with the buzz in the rain. I can see that being good. Way to go The force is strong in you. I have a big one I have jiged 3 x and haven't even seen her. She took m e under a the boat one time and pulled off. I think she is a bass and would b my best if I could lamnd her. Same spot every time and she will only tak a jig.
  3. Really what are you doing with them. I haven't used Arashi they seem nice but a wouldn't guess them to be more solid made
  4. Not sure I have met a square bill I didn't like. Cranky m is very good and under rated. Sk is probably the best Line
  5. Bluebird skys and no wind are the toughest. I usually ptch cover. If I had docks I would give that a try. Ive been skunked on days like that.
  6. I'm a spook type guy. But I am going to put on a buzzer on again. I just watched a vedio on FLW by Canteberry. He says if the water is over 48. He always gives it a try
  7. She is a beauty. Aluminum body. Does that mean less rust? If so I would think that would increase the future trade in value. When a black auto in clean nothing looks sharper.
  8. I would guess low 30s. Anyway. Stick a pic of your full face in.
  9. I was using a $280 combo to troll a worm behind me while I was casting. It caught on some weeds and out the back it went. I went right out with it and caught it and on the fall. The boat kept trolling along.but fortunately curved to the bank 100 yards away. 65 degree water and 60 ft from shore. I learned my lesson about trolling and thank goodness it wasn't colder. Jumping in was just a reaction. It could have been worse.
  10. Sound good to me Stupid spell assist
  11. Two options some md good to me
  12. Agree. I can't think of any other reason. Unless you had a big backlash from the cast and you were reeling in on top of it.
  13. Pass on the ethanol. It draws moisture. Buy a higher premium it will be worth it. My 150 v max 2 stroke runs better on higher octanes
  14. Welcome back. I am a newbe since you were here. Great forum. A young family can take away from your fishing. Oh well. It seems to me that for most guys it is hard to be both an avid fisherman and golfer
  15. So, WPCfishing did you ever go out and fish this. Was there a right answer??
  16. Congrats. Enjoy it will go fast. You might have to give up some fishing time, Im just starting to get more back..
  17. I haven't used this but I just looked at it on TW. Great reviews there.
  18. I will filet the little meat there is off the cage. But ribs off a small fish I don't even think you could eat.
  19. Pline cxx. 10 to 14 lb. I recently spooled on 15b McCoy mean green and it handles well.
  20. Not sure about the white carrot stick. Similar. I have both. I think the duckett is more durable.
  21. That is a black bass. She is pretty though. Great job
  22. WOW. that is a fat bass.. Good Job...
  23. He had a professional over run ( small back lash ). He even takes the fish off fast, it's like he is on speed. I think I fish fast but if I had to move like that when I go out, I wouldnt enjoy the sport as much. Big KVD fan though..... I mean I am not getting goosebumps but I would rather watch him not catch much than some no name. LOL
  24. All mono lines aren't the same. Some cast way better than others. For smooth casting I would use Trilene XL 12- 17 lb. I dont use it anymore because of the stretch but with your stiff rod that could be a good thing. You have lots of good advice above.
  25. Wow. Fast. Yes I wonder the ratio as well.
