~2016 Fantasy Football Sign Up~
I'm sure going to love Doug Martin come playoffs. If I can find some healthy receivers. Bryant should be back after bye which should ease things. Running backs look fine going forward.

I knew I was done when Smith left the game and Bennett was getting all the TDs. I might be 1-4, but I have a plan. Hopefully, my receivers get healthy soon. Been an awful year losing a receiver almost weekly.

I've lost so many receivers this year. Not even three players scoring 100 points can carry me to a win.

And another receiver goes down. When will it end...

Not looking too good for Joe this week. And Hyde's value just keeps going up every week. Steve Smith is looking better every week. Just need Dez to get back now. Still bummed Keenan got hurt.

Looks like Mike ran out of meatballs this week. Surprised Stafford did that bad against the Bears. My running backs are being consistent. So with Charles and Brady back, I might be able to turn this injury season around. If Now if I can just find some consistent receivers.

What are the odds another player on my roster blows his knee out this week? Charles can't get back fast enough, but Johnson will be solid all year.

It's all a crapshoot until season starts anyway. If Luck bounces back like I think he will, Gore could end up with double digit touchdowns and might be a weekly flex starter. Charles is a RB1 if he returns to form. He came back from the first ACL tear looking great so no reason he can't do it again. Hyde is very talented and seems like staying healthy is the only thing holding him back. SF might be running the ball a ton with their QB situation. My receivers are solid and Cobb is the only one that worries me, but he was hurt most of last year and losing Nelson hurt. Manning should carry me until Brady returns. Dez pick was hard with Green still on board, but Dez has been looking great in preseason and Dak looks like he could start now if needed. So I picked him instead since he will produce as long as he has a decent quarterback throwing to him and Green tends to disappear some weeks. Draft position really forced my hand with a lot of picks, but the more I go over my roster, the more I like it. Should be a fun season though. Zach is relying on some old backs and probably will retire after I get done with him in the first week. Don't forget when AP finally breaks down, I have his backup. Jerick says c'mon man!

My team came out much different than I expected. Was prepared to go WR the first three or four rounds, but Johnson fell and I had him in my first tier and Charles was too hard to pass since I feel like he will be healthy this year. I did miss out on the Luck and Hilton combo I was considering. It always comes back to bite you when you decide to wait just one more pick.

Think you have the best team on paper to be honest. A lot of questionable guys that need to pan out though.

That is a great option as well. It doesn't force anyone to take two quarterbacks or defenses while giving players more freedom and preventing hoarding. I'll add a vote for 6 player bench uncapped.

It is always tricky to get the perfect settings in smaller leagues. There is just a lot of talent left at the end of the day. This is how I look at the current situation and why I mentioned it to see what others thought. Nobody knows how the draft will go and what others do, but say someone drafts the best player on the board with every pick. They end up having two backs and a receiver on the same bye week. Like you said, unless you drafted Gronk, you are most likely going to play a RB or WR receiver in the flex spot. That leaves you with your three bench players. However, one of your bench receivers is playing Seattle and you would rather take a chance with someone on the waiver wire this week because of Sherman. It would force you to drop said player to substitute someone off waivers. It could be a game changing player but you just don't like that week's matchup. You are either forced to play the guy anyway or pray nobody steals him from you off the waiver wire the following week. I don't think anyone wants to lose a tier 2 or better player in that situation. Most would probably just handicap themselves and hope they don't get locked down by Sherman. I understand wanting to make the league active throughout the season. But some people just prefer to set and forget. I'm more the type that likes to check match ups and players on a week to week basis. I think the current limit effects active teams and strategy more than it helps to promote more activity. Another thing is with a borderline limit like we have set, the inactive teams likely have the worse records and end up with top waiver priority every week based on the rankings. Granted, I'm fine with whatever the league votes on. Just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention and see what everyone thought.

The idea was to add a little depth to the bench while still preventing hoarding. The problem with having a flex option including TE instead of just RB and WR is that is values TE too much because of the cap limit. And also allows people to over draft that position with no worries of risk because of the cap limit since the gap between TE is pretty big. I vote to increase RB by 1 at a minimum but think both by 1 is a fair.

I just think it makes it extremely hard to use the waiver wire and also makes the draft more interesting as well. I don't necessary think people should be forced to carry two defenses or quarterbacks for example. Increasing the limit also allows people use all kind of different draft strategies, but at the same time gives players the needed depth to cover their bye weeks, unexpected injuries and even sleeper picks that are unlikely to even be useful but could be high reward if they have a breakout year for whatever reason.

~2016 Fantasy Football Sign Up~
Hey guys, was setting up my draft rankings and going over league and roster settings and a couple things caught my attention. We have 16 available roster spots, but with the current settings we can only have 15 roster spots filled. With the roster limit set at 4 RB, 5 WR and 2 TE, it makes it extremely hard to draft and not have to drop players you may not want to just to cover bye weeks since teams are bound to have players with the same bye in smaller leagues. Increasing the RB and WR limit by 1 would be more fair. For example, most people are probably going to play a combination of 6 RB/WR weekly. That only leaves a bench of three player options to cover bye weeks and injuries. I edited this to make it easier to read and understand. I know I am a little late bringing this up, but just had a newborn recently and haven't had time to thoroughly check over everything.

I have a feeling Team Untouchable is going to feel all cuddly after the first week.

Best fishing scale
It was dead on, though my buddy stuck with his 6.5lb prediction.

Line Size for Whopper Plopper?
I have not had any problems with the hooks fouling either. I throw the 130 on a heavy with 65lb braid. I did upgrade the hooks and upsize them though. I'm surprised at the number of people wanting to throw a 130 on a medium or medium heavy. I tried it on a medium heavy with 50lb braid when I did not have my heavy with me and I wasn't comfortable with it at all. Felt like I had a brick tied on. Can easily cast it to the backing without much effort at all.

Best fishing scale
Had one of those moments with a buddy last weekend. Caught a nice bass that was 24 inches and we both thought it was in the 7-8lb range. Accu-Cull said 5.46; I had to double check my scale when I got home.

Ultimate match fishing isn't the worst show I've seen
There are three shows I care to record. MLF, Zona's and UMF. MLF is awesome and I enjoy it a lot. Zona is just a great guy I can relate to and I watch UMF to see if anyone can beat Wheeler in that format.

UFC update...spoilers
Frankie lost to Aldo, but I still believe he wins against McGregor. McGregor's ground game is basically nonexistent and pretty much everyone knows that now. I laughed when Tate got destroyed by Nunes. She refused to give Holm a rematch thinking Nunes was going to be a cakewalk for her and it backfired. Glad to see Velasquez back to his old form, dude is scary when he fights like he did at 200. Cormier did what I expected and I don't blame him, but it would have been interesting if he had stood with Silva a little more. His gas tank looked like it was heading to empty early. I think Lesnar will be back sooner than most expect. He supposedly banked $2.5 million for the Hunt fight. Next couple of cards will be interesting as I'm not super excited for anything happening in the near future.

Best fishing scale
I really like the Accu-Cull scale TW carries. There is also a cheap luggage scale that you can find on fleabay that gets recommended a lot for those on a budget. The Accu-Cull with a fish grip installed instead of the hook is an awesome setup though.
-
Need new scale - AccuCull or another?
I have the same setup as A-Jay. Nothing but good things to say about it and the gripper is awesome. I had no idea that the gripper was manufactored near me until I researched them when I was ordering.
