  3. I like the bullet head and the swim jig,The 3/8 and 1/2oz cover my needs and will work fine for you,some folks prefer lighter or heavier. 3/8 is easy to swim and has a nice 5/0 hook. There's a few 5lbers in your neck of the woods.Good luck! ,

  5. I have that rod and currently have a 3/8oz spinnerbait on it.It also works well with light jigs and t-rigged worms.All in what your comfortable with. Good luck!

  7. That Aetos makes a great spinnerbait rod.Why mess with a good thing?

  10. I have an Okuma guide select 6'6" mh,11 alconite guides,12-25 lr,3/8-3/2 oz.lure.This is my jig rod and I love it.
  11. Larger dia. lines will behave differently on the reel.on a 2500 size I prefer 8lb. test. If you can manage it, spool with what you you like.

  13. Zoom now has a boot tail fluke maybe they are sturdier. I agree with @fishballer06 on the rigging,should last longer that way.
  14. 8-10 lb.yozuri hybrid might do it. I have 12# on an omega and it works well.

  19. I have yet to have a bass reject sharp pointy things, or I couldn't use hooks if they did.
  20. I prefer slot on the bottom,imho it hides more of the hook and is slicker through weeds.No wrong way to fish it.
