Glidebait Reel?
I have a curado I, bb1 and a bb2 and I think they lack the power for swimbaits. Buy you Phenix m1 swimbait rod, Cardiff 300a and you have you a complete setup under $300 that will throw absolute bombs and feel great. Throw some maxima ultragreen 20# on it and you are ready to go

Megabass s-crank
First thing I do is rip the price tag off and pretend I don't blow my whole check on baits. I try to forget how much it costs

Thanks all for the replys, i saw them on there and I wanted to buy 1 to see if I liked it before ordering a few sizes colors. But I was highly suprised when I saw no jap made mark, my made in Vietnam sticker must have fell off.

Diablo spec r for swimbaits?
Does it still have the power to drive heavy wire swimjig or weedless swimbait hooks? That's about my only concern. I guess if it ends up being a little soft I could switch to braid with a leader

Diablo spec r for swimbaits?
I was just liking the couple extra inches of length with the dsr rod, I might just end up using my emtf on it for now. I wish they made like a 7'3" 6 power rod

Poll: The Best Lure for Quantity
You're best go to lure is exactly how it sounds, it's your own personal favorite out of those. Whatever you have the most confidence in fishing, you'll get equally different answers with all baits because everyone has confidence in different things. These baits aren't that expensive either, get online or in your local tackle store and get a few packs of your top 2-3 selections and play with the rigging and presentation of those baits. Then you will be able to figure out what suits you, because it's hard to throw something that you aren't catching fish with because someone else says it works. If you don't have confidence in it, no matter what it will not catch fish.

Megabass s-crank
They look great, but I feel like they are gouging hardcore if it's made in some 3rd world location.

I bought one at dicks today, then when I got home I realized no "made in Japan" marked on it anywhere, where are these things made? I'd be upset if it was anywhere but Japan for $18

Diablo spec r for swimbaits?
I feel like my emtf has plenty of power for this technique, I thought the dsr would be the rod for me.

Diablo spec r for swimbaits?
Yes I'm talking about like keitech 4.3,4.8, and big hammer swimbaits

I dont know how Abu is but Shimano has a spare set in the box, I'd check and make sure they aren't any you overlooked in the reel box.

baitcasting problem.
Did you buy it new like this? Assuming you are using it correctly(tension knob) it is having some reel issues

What brand and model reel you have?

have you ever just quit using a bait?
I started off throwing zoom finesse worms every single time I went on the water in some way, shape, or form. Now I don't even own a pack of them, funny how things change. I wish I still had the ignorant confidence that I used to, it's so easy to overcomplicate things once you figure out more about it.

Cant decide what reels to put on what rods
Well the RC reel to the veritable winch is a easy one lol, besides that I usually pair up my favorite reels with the rods in gonna use the most. Which is why I tried to standardize my reels to all curados to make it a easy selection to pair rod and reels
