I might pick up a bull herring to try out, and I shoulda been more specific I'm mainly looking for hard body swimbaits to slow roll in and around docks to get those suspended fish.

Swimbait Line
25# p-line cxx for me, I troll it my first cast to get coils out then I'm good all day, I've broke off 1/2oz buzz baits on 50# braid when I backlash bad it just doesn't have the stretch for sudden stops.

92 Stroker Questions
I am thinking about buying a 92 21' stroker to fish local tournaments in, how rough do these boats ride in choppy water? And are they easy to fish out of? I'm just concerned that they are built for speed and not to fish out of.

Buzzbait Rod Help
I fish double buzzbaits 3/8oz, and I prefer a m/h and a slower fast action for my buzz baits. I have a wore out carbonlite that really helps me get them hooked up good. And I also use 65lb braid with 20lb mono leader that helps me drive the hook good. I had bad problems with loosing fish on buzzbaits until I started using this setup.

Beginner Rod/reel Combo On $120 Budget
There's a shimano Sahara on eBay for $65 and a Abu veritas on eBay as well in 6'6" m for $70 both free shipping, you can look around and find the veritas cheaper. Which I think would be a great starter setup, since I started off with a symetre and a 6'6" m rod years ago

Caught the first one on it today and the rod is amazing, definitely worth the money to me. Extremely sensitive, lightweight, and loads beautifully
