  1. I double checked mine. Mine was a sealed box and no chipping of paint or anything that would make me think this reel has seen the light of day once it went in the box. I am in TX and mine shipped from MO.
  2. I just got mine. Brand new in box with all papers and tools.
  3. Mine just showed it shipped yesterday. I wonder if mine will be the same.
  4. Im still new to this. What off the shelf brand could you compare that blank to?
  5. I think RX6/E-GLASS if I understood correctly. Maybe just E-GLASS.
  6. I went with the medium heavy. I figured after I fished it if I needed more I would just order another one and use this for crankbaits.
  7. Yes, I dont know how the RainShadow blanks compare to the Evergreen rods. I dont know if H=H.
  8. I watched Brett Hites youtube video where he explains why he uses it for chatterbaits. Then I searched on here and found many have made the switch with great results.
  9. This rod will just be used for chatterbaits. (just ordered 10 from Bluebasser86) I am going to give glass a try on this one. It may or may not work for me, but I am going to give it a try. Here is my question: Do I go with a 7'3" Heavy like pro Brett Hite swears by and uses? or Do I go with 7' medium heavy like the rod builder is suggesting? One guy has made millions using the heavy and one has made hundreds of rods and could make whatever he felt best suited the application and he chooses a medium heavy..... Out of the 2 which would you choose?
  10. I just started fishing not too long ago. The last couple of months I have bought a St Croix Triumph, 2 13 black omens, a TFO Gary Lumis tactical series, and now 2 of these tatulas. Nothing too high end, but I have bought them all at about 40-60% off retail. Im really getting a feel for what I like and what I dont. Maybe one day I will find a good deal on a Zillion.
  11. You guys are going to break me. i just ordered one!
  12. I'm excited to get my Tatulas. Just picked up 2 including the one you want when Cabelas had them for $79 each and free shipping.
  13. Any must haves?
  14. i want to try throwing the Keitech swim baits. Would it be good for the bigger soft swim baits? The 4.8 fat swing impacts.
  15. Im sure I can find a use for it. I only have one MH rod right now. What do you think it would be good for?
  16. Dang. I grabbed a medium hoping it was a medium. Lol
  17. I just bought 2. I will be blaming you when my wife sees the credit card bill. Wife: What is this $192.12 from Cabelas. Me: I dont know. Ask Punch and 5fishlimit.
  18. I have done both. I prefer to use my bow if I have a place close to home that I can go often. I take my rifle on out of state hunts. So, I'm no help to your question.
  19. Another way I want to try it is the chicken rig.
  20. Looks like it has a good wiggle/shimmy whatever you want to call it wacky rigged with a jig head.
  21. I have never seen one in person. Thats why I was asking.
  22. I have been using braid too and feel the same way as Patrick. I have been using the uni to uni knot for braid to flouro. I keep it under 2 feet b/c I dont reel it into my guides. Any longer than 2 feet is hard to cast. I might look for a smaller knot so I can reel it into my guides and still cast fine.
  23. Im looking for a reel to put on either a: 7'3" medium power fast action TFO Gary Loomis Tactical spinning rod or 7'1" medium power fast action *** *** Black 2 spinning rod Looking to throw some small soft swim baits with it. (3.8" fat swing impact and 4" swing impacts) Which reel would be better? 25X = 5.2:1 30x = 6.2:1 or a different $100 (plus or minus a few $$) reel.
