  1. Feel free to send them my way.
  2. I've got a chikara (forgive me if I misspelled that) crank in the baby bass color. With the holographic design it gives off a lot of flash. As others above have stated..... They catch fish.
  3. I just went and checked scheel's for an avid x. I must have just missed that sale.
  4. From those three options I would say go with the e6X. I just picked up a medium power fast action spinning rod for drop shot and weightless plastic applications and so far I am really enjoying it. The e6x will run you around 179.99-189.99. Bass Mafia Tackle usually has them new for $160 shipped to your door.
  5. Spro, Livetarget, and lunker.
  6. I saw some Megabass vision 100+'s on sale at cabelas today for $15.69. I'm not sure if that inclusive to in store.
  7. Bait monkey says to drop another $44.
  8. Definitely a solid reel. As mentioned above, I recommend the 30 size.
  9. Find and extra $5 bill and get yourself a Pflueger President in the power you desire.
  10. Plus one for the above mentioned recommendations. With that being said, that's some awesome work!
  11. I have some solid success throwing the larger Keitech swing impacts fats on a weighted hook.
  12. First choice: Winn Second Choice: Cork Third Choice: Eva foam
  13. I've used the Zman Crawdadz quite a bit. I used the green pumpkin color as jig trailers and Texas Rigs. The durability was insane and they have a pretty nice flapping action. I recommend them without reservation.
  14. Looking for recommendations on a new fishing scale. Will just be used for bass.
  15. Is there a notable casting difference between the 5"6 and 6"6?
  16. That clears the water up some. I was wondering if by having 2 pieces the sensitivity was effected.
  17. I vote blackout dude to the chance of weak eyelets on the ghost. Weak eyelets are the last thing you want throwing top water.
  18. Bait monkey says order both.
  19. Greetings all! I'm about to order a pflueger president light power combo. This is offered in a 5"6 1 piece Rod and a 6"6 2 piece Rod. What are some of the benefits of each? I've never fished a two piece Rod so I'm looking for some insight. This combo will primarily be used to creek rock bass and panfish. Which option will serve me best?
  20. Out of those two, the Veritas. They run a little stiffer too which can be beneficial to frog fishing. I do believe that within that $100 price range, you can find other better options. But as I stated, between those two, I'd go Veritas.
  21. First and foremost, if this thread is not allowed, I apologize and do promptly take it down. Something dawned on me today and I thought I would run it by the bass resource community. A good friend of mine has taken part volunteering with the Lake Cumberland Division of Boy Scouts here in south central Kentucky. He has decided to attempt to gather up some fishing supplies for his troops that do not have any and partake in introducing fishing to some of the scouts. I have already gathered a couple of old spare fishing poles and some older lures/lures I no longer use to donate to him. Do you guys think I would have success with buying old excess lures/accepting donations for this cause on the forums?
  22. I'm excited to try the easy shaker.
  23. I've wanted to give these boxes a try, but they're so EXPENSIVE.
  24. Absolutely. I would have to say it is much easier to catch fish using live bait. People who fish near me using live bait usually catch more fish with fraction of the effort.
