  1. The sun's shining, the snow & ice is melting and for the Second day in a row

    it's actually somewhat pleasant out there right now - low 40's.

    I can almost feel the slightest hint of optimism for an early ice out.

    Then, I looked at the calendar and reality set it. 

    Six Weeks - minimum.

      I feel your pain, my man. I figured I'd try my hand at rod building so at least I can keep myself relatively busy starting next week!

  2. Headed out in about hour or so.  Lund Pro-V Bass will finally be on the water for the first time in 2017. 

    Conditions are marginal at best so this may end up more of a shake down cruise than a bass fishing trip.

    We'll see.  At this point,  I'm good either way
