  1. I am looking to get an inflatable boat rig to get me places but I wanted your opinions. The first possibility is this http://www.amazon.com/SeaHawk-300-Boat-Only-68336/dp/B000K46K8C/ref=sr_1_25?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1218984209&sr=1-25 with this http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Motor-Mount-Excursion-Challenger/dp/B000NR4DB2/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1218984266&sr=1-12. My second choice is this http://www.amazon.com/Sevylor-Fish-Hunter-Inflatable-Boat/dp/B000K8PKI4/ref=sr_1_28?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1218984316&sr=1-28. Also can the sevylor handle a trolling motor out of the box?
  2. Well I like to be a big boy and do it my self. I might drill two holes near the side put in two screws and put some washers and a plank on the other side.
  3. I will use it on whatever water is available and that ranges from large ponds for fairly good sized lakes. I plan on adding two rod holders and a fish finder. Also possibly a trolling motor for when I feel lazy 8-).
  4. I have fished out of SIK's before and I had almost no trouble. Also I found a Victory Blast at my local dicks on sale. Thanks for the concern though. Here is a link:http://www.noyopacific.com/victorykayaksblast.html
  5. I would consider it but shipping is 250$ and that would put me over my budget.
  6. Look at these: you can buy a motor mount to put on them. http://www.amazon.com/Sevylor-Fish-Hunter-Inflatable-Boat/dp/B000K8PKI4/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1205519011&sr=1-10
  7. Thanks for all your help. I am looking forward to the purchase.
  8. Found one at my local dunhams. The pelican pursuit 100 DLX. Good price and new. I think I will go with it.
  9. Thanks but I found a nice one at my local dunhams.
  10. Fresh water. Not to rough water either.
  11. I am looking into purchasing a kayak and I was wandering how I could hook a trolling motor mount. Here is the kayak I am hopping to purchase:http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2674496&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153.2291570&view=all&parentPage=search&fbn=Type%3A+Kayaks%7CHard+Shell&fbc=1&searchId=22979738843&searchId=22979738843&searchId=22979738843&parentPage=family
  12. Congratz. looks like a little work and she will be ready.
  13. I twisted it but as you can see I am in a foot of snow. They actualy had to release us from school early due to the snow. they haven't done it in 10 years and it created massssss chaos.
  14. I have chosen a third choice to be in the running. Here it is:http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2674496&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153.2291570&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153&fbn=Type%3A+Kayaks%7CHard+Shell&f=PAD%2FType%3A+Kayaks%2FHard+Shell&fbc=1&categoryId=2291570&s=A-StorePrice-DSP&parentPage=search&searchId=24213747194
  15. I have a crankbait that swerves way right and I just can't figure out the problem. No it is missing one of the three hooks on the front treble hook could that be it? Thanks.
  16. Thanks I will look into it. My parents are looking into getting me one for my birthday so thats where the money comes from.
  17. I realize I need to give you guys a better idea of what I am looking for. Here is a list: 1. It needs to be small and light. 2. I will use an SUV to transport the kayak. 3. I will use it on ponds and small lakes. 4. I will use artificial bait and a spinning combo. 5. I will practice catch and release unless I am in a tournament. 6. I would like it to be accessory friendly. 7. I would like it to be under 300$
  18. Listen I am 5'0" and am 13 years of age. I really don't need or can afford anything more than what the choices I listed were.
  19. I have two kayaks I could go for and I was wandering which one you guys thought would be better for fishing. I would also like to add a motor mount to which ever one I choose. Here are the choices: Kayak 1:http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2131654&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153.2291570&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153&fbn=Type%3A+Kayaks%7CHard+Shell&f=PAD%2FType%3A+Kayaks%2FHard+Shell&fbc=1&categoryId=2291570&s=A-StorePrice-DSP&parentPage=search&searchId=22979738843 Kayak 2:http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2228183&cp=2367826.2672651.2674153.2291570&parentPage=family
  20. Does Citgo still sponser BASS.
  21. I would of loved it if he had put the tackle box on the deck and it had fallen of and sunk.
  22. I know you all know I am an unfortunate money strained fisherman but he should look at this:http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_94740_100001002_100000000_100001000_100-1-2 This always works great for me and I have not had a line twist in the full year I have used it. I can also put baits weighted heavier than what they say and still not get a line twist.
  23. Sweet deals. Shimano had all there spinning reels marked down and they had an awesome booth dedicated to rods and reels all marked down like 20 or 30 dollars.
  24. My mom said I could get a new kayak form dicks so I want to know how to trick it out.
