So with the nice weather here in Indiana (70in Feb) I got to put the 110 to use. The bait looks great in movement pulls a little harder then others but it is 110. I do however have one issue the bait stand straight up and down sometimes head up sometimes down on the pause but the water is still really cold pointers were sinking not suspending I'm just curious if anyone else has this issue with duo 110s

Never really hear much about them on here. Just got some of there rip baits in the mail pretty excited to try them so farseem very nice. Good paint good hooks now we will wait to see if the bass like them...I got the duo 110 and 100dr. So where are all the duofans at.
  5. Silver buddies are always a bass favorite early in the spring or try a Ned rig

A buddie of mine just got the flambeau a81 for $38.00 they are regularly $100 at field and stream and every where else for that kinda money you could just buy a binder and still come in way under full retail. Really nice bag too http://www.fieldandstreamshop.com/p/flambeau-extra-large-soft-tackle-system-16fmbubgwtrstrgxxtbx/16fmbubgwtrstrgxxtbx
  7. That's what Wal-Mart does. I actually heard a story down in Florida they put up baby wal marts in small towns and put all the mom and pop grocery stores out and then they closed up shop forcing locals to drive 20 miles away to the closest one. Too much buying powerthere they have too much of a monopoly on everything someday they will be the sole store left. It wouldn't surprise me if some how they bought out cabelas instead of b pro or for that matter who's to say they don't already own b pro too
  8. Ya I'm the same way Ild rather spend a little more and support my lLocal shops
  9. Checking out a stardic fk and ci4 tomorrow guys thanks
  10. So I looked through the best reel thread and everything basically is bait casters so here we go...I'm looking to purchase a spinning reel to pair with a dobyns 742 champ extreme I just purchased Ild like to stay under the $200 mark. I've ran lews on my other spinning setups but would like to find something lighter this is going to be a shakey head / drop shot rod...I am really leaning towards a pflueger supreme xt at 149.99 are there any other reels out there I should check out before ultimately deciding on one. Also pflueger guys the supreme comes in a 25 and 30 series is this the stAndard sizing like most spinners are rated. The 25 ipt is like 24 and the 30 is 32 ipt quite a jump leading me to believe the 25 is much smaller. I really don't like a big spinning real at all. All my other reels are 2000 class size thanks in advance guys fishcamp I can read your mind already lol but I know u can chime in on the actual sizes
  11. It's an awesome set up I ran lfs reels then slightly upgraded to the mb just a little more in price but quite a bit more casting distance
  12. Well I keep hearing great things about pfleuger too maybe a supreme xt would be better lol oh here comes a trip to b pro to handle reels lol
  13. Ok serious question why a zinkerz or any senko knock off are u trying to oversize a Ned rig. Why wouldn't you just t rig it in my mind that big stick bait defeats the purpose of shakey head but I must be wrong if it's working How are u hooking stick baits on a shakey head
  14. Oh no it's the spinning rod u were correct couldn't beat the price got it for 250. I plan on adding a lews spinning reel. I have 2 lews spinning reels so far and have zero complaints just like my lews bc as well all around imho best reel company there is especially bang for your buck I'm debating on a Team Lew's® Pro Speed Spin® Series or lews tournament pro speed spin I really like the fact that the team lews comes with two spools one for braid and one for other
  15. Well I still need to order me a reel I just can't make up my mind I'm a big fan of lews they havnt let me down yet. So far every reel I have of there's has been butter so to add to the madness what ratio retrieve would you recommend
  16. What line would you all recommend for a shakey head / drop shot set up. Dobyns 742 extreme hp is the rod. I'm considering sunline sniper fc as main line in 7 lb but if I'm way off base here or if there is something better please point me in the right direction. I've never really fished drop shot or shakey head or anything finesse for that matter but am ready to really learn. Cost of line is not an issue unlesssome suggest a line that is really expensive but sniper fc gives u an idea of my price range thanks in advance guys
  17. I mostly fish roboworms but have been lookin to broaden my lure choices and was just getting ready to post a similar thread lol
  18. Poorboys eerie darter
  19. Hands down dobyns pair it with a lews reel in that range and u have and awesome setup
  20. Dobyns fury 733. Lews tournament mb 7.1.1. P line 12 lb cxx I might switch some reels this year and th is is one I've been thinkin about maybe going a little slower down to a 6.1.1
  21. I'm amazed more people havnt said asenko but if I really can't get a bite then I'm switching to a jerk bait it's a confidence bait for me. Plus I can fish it a million ways fast slow shallow deep suspending floating ok guess it's not a million but u get my point
  22. Sounds like a good place to neko rig or peg the weight up a ways and Carolina rig it so it still falls on bottom weightless. I fish these combos quite regularly
  23. check out solar bats ive heard good things
  24. yes only one rod is needed and a great way to start but as for efficiency a few rods with technique specific set ups is the way to go i agree here and what was stated before learn to tie your knots itll shave time off setting up. also when im only taking one rod with me i like to keep my lure selection to the basics which is always half my problem to many lures and not enough time to fish them all so ill find myself second guessing what i put on
  25. any reel that says lews on it
