  1. Out of your choices I voted Italian. I could eat Itallian every meal of everyday. My all time fave is Amercian Coastal aka seafood.
  2. Old Navy. Nice and cheap.
  3. Awesome pics. They're very common here in Central MA. I see them run through the yard all the time. I was out fishing once, went to the back of my CRV to get another rod or change lures or something and by the time I finished up and turned around there was one sneaking up on me from behind to check me out. It was no further than 10 feet away when I turned around. Kinda freaked me out a little considering they're wild animals.
  4. I'm so bad I put off procrastinating. No joke. Have fun. Hope you catch a PB.
  5. I hear ya. That definately makes it easier when you can sneak in a trip down south. I was lucky last year and got to go to Florida in early March then did the Lake Fork trip. This year I haven't been able to go anywhere and I'm about ready to go nuts. Haven't made a cast since the end of October last year. I think I forgot how to use a baitcaster. lol
  6. If I wasn't working I'd be down there to join you man. I cleaned and spooled all my reels last night so I'm ready to start the '08 season. Just need some open water. :
  7. I love the smell of bass after I've caught a few. If they made a candle of it I'd buy it. lol Also the mixture of ***, Chompers and JJ's in my car. When I start smelling that I know the temps are rising and it's almost time to start fishing.
  8. Lucky dawg. That's one heck of a month of fishing. Great way to start the season. Good luck on the 10. More importantly good luck catching a limit in your first tourney.
  9. yep. looks like we're getting close. Low 40s and rain this week in my area. Only problem is it's still forcast to dip into the teens and low 20s during the nights this week. Still it's looking better than I thought it would this early in March. The old saying goes if March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb. Hopefully that true since it came in with 7 inches of snow for me. lol Should be pretty nice towards the end of the month.
  10. The Wal-Mart in my area is stocking things that weren't even available last year.
  11. Family Crest?
  12. If I have to go to work in 10 in of snow I'll sure as heck go to BPS.
  13. Been cutting my own hair for the past 7 yrs. I refused to pay someone 12 bucs to give me a buzz cut. At one haircut a month (I usually do 2) I've saved $1008.00. and that's good to know since I'm going to bps tomorrow.
  14. Being a southern boy I have no clue what soda is but I might be able to rustle up some pop for the cook out. ;D How bout sweet tea? 8-) Being a southern boy I have no clue what soda is but I might be able to rustle up some pop for the cook out. ;D How bout sweet tea? 8-) That I can definately do. The best sweet tea I've ever had was at the lodge at Lake Fork last year. I've been trying mimmick it ever since. I'm getting pretty close.
  15. Yeah forgot about the whole weather thing. Forcasters are saying anywhere from 4-8 up here which means we'll probably either get a dusting or 12 inches. lol. Most of it's supposed to come down tonight so I don't think it'll be a problem by tomorrow late a.m.
  16. Everybody still on for tomorrow? Anybody else that's heading to Bass Pro tomorrow? Are we having lunch at the Bass Pro restaurant or doing something local?
  17. Being a southern boy I have no clue what soda is but I might be able to rustle up some pop for the cook out. ;D
  18. Yeah it'll be interesting to see if they made any significant changes to it or just colored it yellow and put his name on it.
  19. RW I like you grandfathers style.
  20. This really says something about the will to live in humans. All the same though I think I'll stick to fishing small lakes. My wills pretty strong but I think a 12 hour swim might do my fat but in. lol Fisherman makes 12-hour swim to shore After marathon, Aussie raises alarm and 2nd person rescued; 3rd missing The Associated Press updated 9:29 a.m. ET, Thurs., Feb. 28, 2008 CANBERRA, Australia - A fisherman made a 12-hour marathon swim to shore and another was rescued after 30 hours in the sea, while authorities searched Thursday for a third person after a fishing trawler sank off Australia's eastern coast. The alarm was first raised Wednesday afternoon when 39-year-old deckhand Michael Williams reached a beach in Northern New South Wales state after swimming for 12 hours, state police said in a statement. "He's very strong," his mother, Fay Williams, told reporters Thursday outside the hospital where he is recovering in the town of Mullumbimby. An air and sea search continued through the night and a second deckhand, John Jarrett, was found in the water clinging to a floating fiberglass shrimp-sorting tabletop Thursday morning about nine miles off the coast of Ballina, Ten Network television reported. Jarrett had spent 30 hours in the water, police said. He was plucked from the sea by a rescue helicopter, which took him to a hospital in Ballina, helicopter rescue service spokesman Andy Christie said. Jarrett, in his 40s and a father of three, told Ten network from his hospital bed that he never doubted he would survive. "I've got a determination like no other person," Jarrett said. The search continued Thursday for the trawler's skipper. Tracey Jiggins, spokeswoman for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, which is coordinating the search, said 10 planes and helicopters were continuing to search 370 square miles of ocean for the lost captain. The trawler's nets became snagged on a reef before dawn Wednesday and sank within minutes, Ten reported.
  21. Muddy, just don't show up on any searches for Minn Kota. Then you be in real trouble.
  22. Not sure if this has been done before if it has someone can delete this if they want but just thought it would be interesting to find out how everyone heard about this site. A friend, another website, an internet search etc. It's been a while for me but if I remember correctly I was just doing an internet search for something bass related and this was one of the first sites I came across. Lucky for me I checked out the forum section.
  23. And we're glad to have you here. Look forward to reading the next 2000.
  24. Because their eyes are in the FRONT not the back. If we fished the backs they couldn't see our lures. LOL No go to sleep. ;D
