  1. I believe that probably had more to do with timing , location of the cast, and retrieval more so than color... Have you ever had a color of senkos that didn't catch fish ?? Me either...
  2. If you're seeing fish in the shallows , odds are they can see you too. Target areas where you think fish are holding but you cannot see the fish. I also suggest throwing a topwater of some sort. Frog, walking style and popper. Rage structure bug is killer rigged many ways, including t-rig , swimbait hook, jika rigged, and on a swim jig.. pitching and swimmin this bait has become a go to for me these past few seasons.
  3. Ok, some other options besides the rage craw.. Keitech crazy flapper , culprit incredicraw , biospawn vile craw, zoom speed craw and GY psychodad. All fish catchers.
  4. Not sure.. If I had to guess... It would be that it is a custom painted bandit.

Yep looks like melanosis . It's not harmful to us or the fish.
  6. What are you talking about ?
  7. It's the people that make them rich... If the common folk didn't buy jerseys , programming , tickets and other merchandise then there wouldn't be that much money for the players.. we must blame ourselves.

Hot and humid = melted plastics. It's awesome you have that much stuff ! . .. I have quite a bit... It's scattered though between the basement and garage.. mostly rods , and nets outside and the tackle in the basement.. my poker table is flooded with online purchases and I keep my tackle bags/pack/box in 2 large totes . It works for now. I'd like to trade some of my tackle for time off to get to use even half of my stuff.
  9. I use braid as a main line 80 percent of the time... Moss green, camo, white and hi-viz yellow have all worked the same for me really so I don't think it matters so much..this is in fairly clear water too
  10. Medical lake huh..in Washington. Sounds like a nice one.
  11. Ahh crappie fisherman. Most keep them.. I have more stickworms than I know what to do with. The three main areas I fish are not so intrigued by stickworms much anymore... Used to be killer.. that's why I have so many.. it's slowed down for me. I like the senkos. Along with pretty much all of GY's plastics. And there isn't a color I own that hasnt caught a bass.. Itd be cool to be able to try every color Yamamoto makes. Haha. On second thought, I don't even have enough time to be able to fish every color they offer !
  12. Nope. I have em but usually just use em for fat IKAs and small paddle tails. 3/0 ewg is a perfect hook for a tx weightless 5" senko and I can flip it and use the worm wacky and still catch fish with this same hook... If your bait gets torn up , cut 1/4" off the bait and re-rig... This keeps the hook in fresh plastic and I promise the bass don't mind if the bait is 4&3/4" . Lol. I've cut em all the way down under 4" and had continued success with them.
  13. Rage chunk and zoom chunk are my two favorite
  14. Wait.. @snake95 I told you to throw something other than a stickworm if it was a public area lol
  15. X3 on the lews super duty. Cabela's has em for 99 dollars !
  16. The past couple seasons I have found good success in the rage tail structure bug and menace. GY fat ika and Hula grub. Zoom fluke and warning shot. Grandebass air tail rattler.
  17. With everyone saying you should be throwing senkos, you should probably throw something different. Unless you're fishing private waters. Otherwise, a wacky stickbait has become common knowledge... And used by nearly everyone.. I like the idea of a bluegill swimbait, topwater walking style bait and I would suggest a shallow shad rap (I like a sweeping retrieve , back and forth. )
  18. Someone be the better man and let it go. Who cares.
  19. So apparently there are only 3 types of deadly snakes in Pennsylvania. And I believe they are the same three that are in Ohio. I made a comment to you on another thread about a water moccasin.. after (just a little) digging I've seen that water moccasins are not listed as one of these three. Even though "claims and sightings are reported EVERY year" 2 of them are rattlesnakes. Which these guys seem to be having fun handling.
  20. You guys need a drink.
  21. Lol idk about throwing senkos at docks being different... But I do agree that the spinning rod is essential nearly every time out . For me anyway.
  22. I want to noodle for Wels. You down @Jelvas?
  23. I go to yum for a couple things... Swimbaits isn't one of them
