Ha-ha . My dad is a grandfather at 42!! Is what it is man. Good for you seriously !! I know I've missed out on a lot of personal time because of having a child but I really don't wish it to be different.. my girlfriend and daughter got in a car accident while i was at work one day and I about puked my nads up. I couldn't imagine coming home and not seeing their smiling faces.. I make do with what I can ! As long as I touch a bass every week I get my fix. If I had 70k for a boat I'd build a huge pond instead and stock it with bass and heavy amounts of forage.

The rush you get when one finally comes in to distance is unlike anything I've ever felt..

My problem is when most of my plastics rip I don't have the other pieces/appendages to put back on!!

Lol 72k for a boat. I have 600 in my "rig" including trailer, wiring, seats, and trolling motor, and lights. Must be nice. Maybe if I didn't have a kid and decide to go back and live with my mother I can get financed for a 12 year payment deal.

It depends on the style of jig.. swim jigs I like the zoom fat Albert and a soft paddle tail like keitech. Also the rage menace. I've been doing good all summer and fall on a simple green pumpkin bitsy bug jig and a rage chunk in matching color.

3 parts jack D. 1 part dark soda (but not root beer) . My go to. The lady says it's nasty. I honestly think it's great.

This time of year you should be fishing In the warmest part of the day for the best results. Probably 1-5 pm will be the best bite.

A cuda or challenger. I go down to pigeon forge once a year for the "rod run" and get to see a bunch of those classics. Just walk the strip and see em all. It's a good time. My girlfriend likes the old trucks. Like the 50's.

I'm not exactly sure of your point ? Care to elaborate? You want to have less taxes? I get by... I don't think our country is bad.. its just even the "middle class " (which I'm barely considered) struggles for things that are necessities even though they put their time in.. while there are people spending 250k on cars and Im eating off the dollar menu every day so my child has diapers. must be nice. Is all I had to say about it..

Lol had me til the lake is bottomless part. I have a Ghost story. But it has nothing to do with fishing. I have a girlfriend ive been with for almost 3 years now. We have a one year old daughter together. Before she got pregnant I took her up to meet my mother and her side in michigan.. this is where I grew up. I love it there and no place feels quite the same. Anyway. I introduce her to some old friends. We have some drinks and go out to eat. Typical stuff. Well it was decided that we were going to stay at my grandparents house, whom are roughly 70 years old and have a house they've lived in for 40+ years. I've known this house all my life. We were staying upstairs.. we got settled down. And she is convinced she heard something .. i get up and check. Obviously there was nothing.. i crawled back in to bed.. she then begins to tell me that she feels like someone is watching us. I laughed at her.. this is funny to me. I was 22 at the time and have never seen a ghost. I even played with a ouija board in a cemetery with some friends when I was about 17. Been to "haunted " cemetery's (as if they wouldn't all be haunted ) and never seen anything. So naturally this was comical to me. And I basically told her to be quiet and go to sleep. she nodded off.. I laid there. And all of the sudden.. I seen this ghost. It was a woman. I could tell by the dress and long hair. She was all white and was translucent. She had a friendly vibe. And i didn't feel frightened.. I reached over to tell my girlfriend.. "look jess, I see the ghost" and as soon as those words crossed my lips I was rushed by the brightest white light ive ever seen and a very scary unworldly face was consuming all of my vision. I was petrified (I feel chills run down me as I recall this event) I screamed as loud as I could. A shrieking, blood curdling scream that could wake a deaf man. And all of the sudden I woke up. and jess said she heard nothing. Apparently it was just a dream. But the fact that I transitioned from being awake, to seeing this ghost without realizing that I went to sleep still puzzles me today. I'll never forget it. And definitely has made me a little more weary of joking or even thinking about the paranormal world.

I have about 150. I thought I was over doing it lol. I like rapala and bomber. Both for value. I don't have the money to fish a high end crank like cranks need to be fished. And I've always just like rapala and bomber. I know alot of people like SK cranks. I'm sure they're great. But strike king gets enough of my money in soft plastics, jigs and spinnerbaits. Literally every model of rapala I have bought produced fish. Some more than others but still caught fish nonetheless. This includes the original, jointed, countdown, xrap (and all of its variances), husky jerk, tail dancer, fat rap, shad rap (jointed version too), flat rap, dt series and I've had success with the scatter rap as well. I tried the shadow rap with mixed results. Id rather use the husky jerk or original floater depending on the situation. So basically. Rapala makes fish catchers and have for a long time. I know they hold various records and it's just a brand I trust completely. The bomber model A is my favorite . Under 5 dollars usually and continues to catch bass for me year after year. Everyone has a preference. This is just what works for me. And has for almost a decade now.

It's funny. Because I've caught fish on evey color crank bait I've purchased. This includes red, brown, pink, chartreuse, dark green, purple literally every color. Action/size/placement is much more important. But I think color can make a difference In some instances. If I could only have a few I'd take silver, gold, all black and firetiger. Thankfully, I don't have to.

They make 4" and 5" GY hula grubs. I have the best luck fishing these weightless. If I'm fishing deep I reach for the IKA.
