  1. I don't care what anyone says. It'd be more entertaining than ping pong !!
  2. Lol I don't know anybody who would turn down a free pack of senkos..
  3. Keep what is most successful for you.. or anything you've had for a long time that's sentimental. I'd get rid of anything that you haven't used in 2 seasons. I'm in a similar situation with hardbaits. They all catch fish though so I haven't let them go. I just keep em in a guide series tackle box and then put inside a tote
  4. Lol I pretty much know all of them. I agree there are alot. But the shadow rap is nowhere near the producer of the xrap and it's versions. IMO
  5. @Ratherbfishing you are exactly right . And that's exactly why it wasn't mentioned. It rises rather quickly . I'm not sure why you referenced the shadow rap? I was talking about the xrap shallow shad. It does suspend . I've had some that didn't suspend like they were supposed to though, but they still caught fish.
  6. @tcbass I get pretty good mileage out of my senkos. And I use the GYB usually . I can usually get 5 fish out of a worm if I TX rig. Then cut off about a 1/4" and re rig. But that doesn't make them any cheaper than a pack of dingers..
  7. I don't know who said it but I read somewhere to cut off about 1/4 " and re rig it. You know you're having a good day when you started with a 5" senko and before you get a new one it's about 3 3/4"
  8. I'm assuming the zinkerz is rigged on a mushroom jighead... what's your most productive rig for the senko?
  9. Me too. Do you always use weight with these worms ?
  10. My girlfriend is from Alabama. And the last time I was there her crazy family wanted me to go with them and catch them with their hands.. flip em up and rope them. I think is what they wanted to do. I'm not sure what type of pig or bore . But I wasn't nearly drunk enough to even half way consider the offer.
  11. Your most successful retrieve method?
  12. I figured it would be a good idea to share some of your most successful plastics this year. That way I (and others) can maybe try something new next season. Tell us how you rigged em if you want!! Mine were -gyb double tail hula grub. Year after year they catch bass for me, In basically every color Ive tried but I like the root beer the most. Almost always weightless. -rage craw (new to these, I know they've been around though) I like to Texas rig it. Usually 1/8oz unpegged. -reaction innovations sweet beaver. I had good luck pegging this bait and punching it through some thick stuff to find some decent bass In the summer. Obviously the senko. weightless t rigged and wacky. Several others but I could get by with these.
  13. Good post ^ but senkos are not cheap. They're the most expensive soft plastic I usually see on the shelves.
  14. Caught my PB on this exact bait. !
  15. I always fish mine with weight. Usually 1/8oz unpegged painted bullet weight. . I like red shad and tequila(it's like a purple black laminate) . Hop em and drag em. Don't be afraid to really hop it up high. Alot of my strikes with these happen on the descent.
  16. Rapala x rap shallow SHAD. Olive green or black/orange. Bigger profile than original xrap and also a shallow runner . Also the original floater . I don't know how this wasn't mentioned it's absolutely deadly in the shallows.
  17. I've been out of highschool for 7 years.. I still go. Lol. We got a cabin up there once. I look forward to it every year. I'm always drooling at the water we pass on our way.
  18. Nice fish. Topwater is the most fun IMO. Tennessee is awesome too. You ever go to the rod run in pigeon forge ?
  19. I recommend getting a forage COMPLETELY established before you add bass ! Or you'll end up with skinny stunted bass! Trust me !
  20. This^ the sensitivity of braid is unmatched by any other line. That and casting distance is why I almost always choose to run braid. I also like the no stretch qualities it has..
  21. The Texas rig with or without weight. I can take a spinning rod with just one 3/0 offset hook and fish so many soft plastics off that one set up. I don't know where you fish in Cleveland . But I suggest you try senkos, and a grub on a jighead.
  22. The psycho dad looks very close !!!! I know it wasn't the figting craw because it didn't have 4 appendages between the claws. But that looks nice as well. Same for the air craw ! Thanks fellas.
  23. Yea man if I had a pic I'd probably know what it was... like I said. It had big meaty claws that were at least 1/2" thick. The body looked fairly standard. If you know of a craw that has thick claws like that then I would love to know who makes it. That is all..
  24. I ran into another fisherman the other day, and he showed me a jig that he said he was having success with. The trailer on his jig was about 3 1/2" and had big meaty claws. Like 1/2" thick at least. Ive been looking at soft craws everywhere and I can't find one that looked like it anywhere. Maybe it was a custom pour.. but maybe not. Every seen anything like that?
