  1. Love me some TW, they are pretty stand up guys and work well with you!! And like NC said above me- those shipping prices are ridiculous!
  2. After I pour my heads, then I take the basehole pin and wiggle it slightly to make the hole bigger, then use loctite gel superglue. With the slightly wider hole you dont have to push the weedguard in and it flare.
  3. Sometimes it just wasn't meant to be
  4. Whenever my wife says I can!
  5. X2 I love those!
  6. Green Pumpkin/ Green Pumpkin Red Magic Craw
  7. He has a fishing show so I am happy that there are people out there trying to keep the sport and outdoors alive and interesting for kids. On the other hand his voice and his show is like nails on a chalkboard to me, the only one worse was that last (short run) show of Fish Fishburne (who I really like)
  8. Thanks!
  9. That looks killer, I would love to know how much you cut off and details!
  10. Just tested it and not working. I thought that my search was too specific, so I typed in "jig" and nothing. Anyone else with issues?
  11. Is anyone else having issues with the search feature? I cannot get it to work at all, trying to do some research Thanks Paxamus
  12. Just fished a tourny there, water was very clear 3-4 feet visibility in some areas, key in on new growth
  13. Friend of mine at one of our local tackle stores who is the rod buyer just got back from a trip and had met with some of the Shimano guys and they all said it isn't going anywhere. I sure hope not, I love that rod!!
  14. I just got off the phone with a guy who recommends these 8 ply Goodyears, that they put on construction trailers. I am going to give them a shot, we'll see
  15. Hey guys, I am about to put some new rubber on my trailer of my Tr186, what are some of yalls picks on trailer tires? Just looking for some input before I buy some Thanks Paxamus
  16. Hooked and lost- you know fish are there and you can break down what went wrong and how to make it better

Ok here is my little secret to keeping plastics on the hook Parasite Worm Clips, you can find them at http://www.basspro.com/Parasite-Worm-Weight-Clips/product/93400/40187 I use these on worms, flukes, lizards, everything except straight shank flipping hooks. I never use a fluke without them. You will also notice the hook up ratio improve because the large plastic of a fluke cannot slide down into the gap. They are cheap and use the medium or large size for the fluke! Good luck.
  18. 7'2" Cumara MH Fast with 40# Sufix 832 and 16-20 Sunline Sniper Leader
  19. I use sniper as a leader to braid in 16 and 20- I LOVE that stuff!
  20. Very nice!
  21. Not to seem condescending, but try holding your rod at a ninety degree angle to your body. I had a buddy of mine that i thought "knew" how to fish, but he would retrieve a crankbait with the rod tip pointed right at the crankbait, like you would a jig or a worm. You could also loosen the drag and switch to some Mustad KVD Trebles or Owner Trebles (the only two I use).
  22. EdH- Thanks. I will also post up a couple of new pics next week the crab- I like to use Legos to build my mold boxes with. They are reusable and you dont have to wait for hotglue to dry
