  1. Here are some pics of the Withlacoochee River that I took in December. I did manage to get some fishing in, but I only caught a small bass and panfish. I got a pic of the panfish but not the bass (camera ran out of film). Here they are.
  2. I found a great way to resize pics so they fit on this site and can be posted if you don't have a photoshop-type program that does this. Just go to photosize.com
  3. Yes, it works!!!! Here's another (same fish, different pose).
  4. Okay, I'm gonna try posting a pic again so hopefully it will work. This is a 2-3 lb bass I caught on a private lake in Jennings, FL in June. I was using a 3/8 oz Red River F5 Series spinnerbait with tandem indiana gold blades and a white skirt. I caught it at about 3pm.
  5. Thanks for all the B-Day wishes guys. I appreciate it.
  6. DUDE, THAT'S CRAZY!!!! I wanna try it.
  7. Just thought I'd share.
  8. I play the electric and acoustic guitar. I would post pics but they always show up as red x's. I still can't get it to work when I try to post a pic. Anyway, I play classic rock, southern rock, and blues. I've been playing since fourth grade, so it's been about nine years since I first started. My electric is a Johnson (looks like a stratocaster) and my acoustic is an Ovation Pinnacle OP30.
  9. Well, I knew it wouldn't last long. Peekvid isn't really working now. You can't watch any of the movies and hardly any tv shows. Anybody know of another site where you can watch movies for free?
  10. This is for all those basketball players or general fitness people out there. I recently started playing basketball again and it is my goal to be able to dunk on a regulation basket by summer. Any ideas on how I can increase my vertical leap? I'm white and I'm 5' 11'' (in other words, I have a long way to go to be able to dunk, lol).
  11. SO WEIRD!!!!
  12. I'm gonna guess that a Mercedes key is gonna cost a small fortune. I bet it has a chip in it and is laser cut. Live_2_Fish, you are right. The keys for a Mercedes have to be laser cut.
  13. Well, today at school my friend accidentally locked his car keys to his Mercedes Kompressor inside the trunk. Everyone thought it was hilarious, lol. I called AAA because he didn't have his card with him and when the guy came out he wouldn't open the car. The problem was that since the Mercedes has such a great anti-theft system (too great), if he unlocked the car the alarm would go off and everything shuts down and can't be opened. But get this: The seats in his car don't fold down, so if the guy unlocked the car he wouldn't be able to get inside the trunk. Also, the spare key was locked inside the glove compartment (the whole point of having a spare key is that it's outside of the car), and since the alarm would have gone off had he opened it, the glove compartment would shut down and there would be no way of getting it open. The end result is that my friend had to get his car towed to the Mercedes dealership to unlock the car and get his keys. Just thought I'd share. Anyone else ever locked their keys in their car before?
  14. My biology teacher showed this video in class.
  15. Those crappie don't seem very big in the picture. I usually throw crappie that size back in the water.
  16. Try using a live nightcrawler with some split shot above the hook. Just make sure you hook the worm so that 3/4 of it's body is hanging off the hook. Some guy told me to fish it this way and I got a lot more strikes. I guess it's able to wiggle a lot more and fish like the action. I was fishing for wild trout, so the nightcrawler is your best bet if you are also fishing for wild trout.
  17. I used to skateboard too but gave on it because it's too painful to get better. I got tired of busting up my shins and getting gashes all over my legs. I didn't get very far. An ollie, kickflip, and pop shove-it were the only tricks I was ever able to land. Oh yeah, dropping in on a ramp for the first time got me pretty banged up too (I ended up sliding off the ramp and down the pavement for a good eight feet that got me all cut up). It was my friend's homemade ramp and it was set up in the road.
  18. Because it's a pain in the #%$ when you lose one but us fishermen don't like to use profanity so we added a "b" to the front of the word. Why is an orange still called an orange when it's green?
  19. Thanks guys. My club is fixed now and it only cost me $26. I went on the course today and shot a new low score!
  20. These are my phobias (no particular order): 1. Spiders 2. Dark, murky water 3. Alligators (only when I'm fishing from shore or my small 6ft inflatable boat. I don't get scared if I see one but it's a psychological thing when I'm wondering if they're near me underwater). 4. Having someone break into my house at night.
  21. Last weekend I broke my new nine iron on the golf course (I hit the ball and the club head snapped off). I think I can get it reshafted or something. Does anyone know how much it might cost? Or, if this kind of thing can't be repaired, how much will a new nine iron cost (I have AMF clubs, not super expensive but not real cheap either)?
  22. Just want to see your opinions on who will win this year. I voted the Colts.
