  1. dobyns fury wins out of the two. both are good rods. use mono because it floats. good luck
  2. Good question. I put my rods in the passenger seat of my truck and let them face the back of the truck. Like others said, rod sleeves and reel covers work great. I don't use them when bank fishing with 2-3 rods as they are a pain to put on and off. just be careful when you put it on the ground. You can also buy combo carriers like the tackle warehouse rod quiver. a pic pipe on your roof rack is a good idea too.
  3. Cabala's will be hosting an in store sale for members only, may 5-8. They will be giving all members an employee discount. You need to have your card with you in order to get the discount. What is the discount percentage?
  4. if they are smaller LMBs, use finesse texas rig with spinning gear, or small hair jigs hopped wth a casting reel. Has produced over 150 bass for me so far. same scenario as you too.
  5. I've caught the same bass three days straight!
  6. caught 40 today, all around 2lbs, makes it 125 for the year
  7. Looking for a new spinning Rod. I'm only paying 100 $. Any deals? Just purchased a Stradic Ci4+ 3000 with braid used for 150! Just purchased a Stradic Ci4+ 3000 with braid used for 150!
  8. Wanna send me one?
  9. looking to go short because that rod comes with the smoke reel for only 180. most likely to go wit the stradic and powell
  10. I think I found what I've been looking for. it is a Stradic Ci4+ that is used and its is a 3000 size. $150 and it comes with braid. I will also get the powell max 3D 7'1" MH for 100. what do you think?
  11. Is a 6'3" ML good for short pitches?
  12. Id rather catch 1 and 2 pounders all day than one big fish. I like to stay busy.
  13. I was looking at the eyecup, its actually 120 from cabbalas! I like shimano and diana too! thanks for the help.
  14. Thats what I'm thinking, but most of my streams are small, I'm thinking the 6'3" would be short and accurate, but could work for bass too. I do like the idea of trying to find a ml 7'1"
  15. I totally agree, I just find I fish finesse more, what spinning setup should I add next?
  16. I find myself using my one spinning setup more often than all five of my casting setups. Because of this, I want to add another spinning combo. I fish in lakes, ponds and small streams for bass and trout. I already have a 7' M XF and 1500 size reel with 20 lb braid and a leader. I fish a lot of drop shots, Ned rigs, split shots, wacky rigs, and keitechs. Looking at a Quantum Smoke inshore 6'3" MLXF and 25 size reel. I am also looking at a 7'1" mh Powell max too. What do you think?
  17. Thanks! I already have a 7' Medium Tournamnent ZX combo. It works really well for everything. I also have an ultralight ugly stik for live bait. I want to add another rod for trouts, small accurate casts in hard to reach places. I fish the Ned rig dropshot and keitechs the most.
  18. Wow, do you fish everyday?
  19. Would a 6'3" ml be accurate?
  20. I have 1 nice spinning setup and 5 nice casting setups. i find myself using the spinning rod more. I live in pa and fish small lakes with lots of pressure. Should i invest in more spinning rods?
  21. I just caught my 85 Largemouth bass of the year. How many have you guys caught so far? I live in PA, I don't ice fish, I am 16, is this a good number? I want to hit 300.
