  1. NFL players are not a dime a dozen and the chances of getting to that level are extremely small, when compared to a servicemen. Also, the NFL is a privately run group with multimillionaire franchise business owners that have a nationally watched and desired product, football. The mass media is also responsible for elevating the demand for the NFL, thus high salary for players and rich owners. So not to sound harsh although public service workers are a special breed, they are not highly specialized and as sought after as talented football players, just a cruel fact of life. As far as the lockout goes here is the player's perspective: http://www.nfllockout.com/what-is-this-lockout-about/ As an aside roughly 75% of NFL players are BROKE within 2 years of leaving the NFL, so although they are very specialized in talent, most if not all players are financial disasters waiting to happen, unlike the franchise owners. If the players were actually smart people they would plan to pay for their longterm health coverage, they have the money! Additionally, this says something about NFL player's belief in our new healthcare system, do they not believe it would take care of them! What the player's fail to mention is that healthcare coverage for them is expensive and if you take cost of it into account for all players that played in the NFL that retire or no longer play for a reason the expenses add up to the point that the fiscal burden placed on the NFL for paying for healthcare becomes so great that eventually its no longer viable. This is one of the major reason why municipalities, state health plans, private companies, etc. are BROKE, just like the players!
  2. So what you put in it? Reeds, performance heads, lighter flywheel, etc. We want gear head details ;D
  3. If it says 50psi cold than its 50 psi cold or you can look at load charts for your particular setup, many tire manufactures give them to their dealers to hand out as brochures.

  12. Was originally going to just order pizza and have a few friends over, but decided I wanted to smoke a pork shoulder. Went to the local Publix and picked up a 10lb. pork shoulder and some supplies for my dry rub and woke up this morning to start the 12 hour process. Low and SLOW is the ticket. Going to bbq some wings for a late lunch as guest start arriving. By the way still order pizza cause the guest list has grown once they new I was cooking up a pork shoulder. Here is pic after about 3 hours of smoking:

  14. so go kick the guys asss? and when you get shot trying im going to lmao. people who think they can use violence to change how others act are very low on my list. The greatest motivator is the avoidance of PAIN, the litigious society we live in no longer allows us to behave like the primates we are. To bad, cause he needs not just one, but several A_S beatings to set him straight. I guess I am low on Skunked_again's list, too bad!
  15. I've caught a BIG Wahoo (about 100lbs) that did not surface in Walker's Cay. So you can't count them out.
  16. Or you can do it yourself....on second thought don't if your like a couple of guys I know ;D Major cleanings are totally different, but its amazing what some well placed drops of reel lube will do.
  17. North end is hot from what Scott Martin said I bet East side around J&S is not to pressured.
  18. Just finished watching 2nd day of weigh-ins for FLW today and it was amazing, co-anglers are even smoking'em!
  19. Lake Okeechobee is a BASS FACTORY. California has its Florida native bass fed a high protein diet, Texas has its Florida strain restocking program. FLORIDA has the real deal , Florida bass in their natural environment. I will be out there next week for SURE!
  20. I will start using a lefty for my pitching/flipping outfit, since I just picked up a new lefty Daiwa Advantage, going to mount it on a Dobyns Champion. All other techniques I used traditional righty baitcaster and righty spinning.
  21. Scrapped the Refuge and fished my favorite golf course canal ended up with about 10 or so with the big one going about 3. Most came on a spinnerbait, since water was murky, saw plenty of bedding bass though.
  22. The ditch is fine on plane, lake is at 12.5 now, but another 1/2 foot and it becomes a different story depending on boat setup.
