  2. Forum members, does anyone own a late model (2005-Current) Nissan Pathfinder S/SE/LE 2x4, Toyota Highlander 4x4, Honda Pilot 4x4? If so, what are your likes and dislikes, and any known factory issues. I am in the market for a late model used SUV. My wife likes the Pilot, better than the Highlander and says its a toss up between the Pathfinder and Pilot. I like the Pathfinder a bit better for its increased towing capacity, may tow boat on family trips to Jacksonville from South FL.
  3. Man what a nice hand holding those Spro's :, everytime I saw Glenn and Gene they were hard at work. Thanks guys for working hard and dedicating your time to put the info. that forum members crave! I actually met the Bait Monkey at the Rosen Centre bar the last night I was there. He paid for my tab so I can buy some more fishing stuff. Gene/Glenn did you get a chance to meet him?
  4. Boyd Duckett is IMO a stand up guide and I value his opinion. Did Skeet Reese bad mouth Lamiglass when he left regarding quality issues. When money is on the line Boyd doesn't want his rod to be a Carrot! I feel sorry for those members who bought one based on they hype, how confident must they be with the lifetime warranty? I am glad the Bait Monkey did not convince me to try a carrot though
  5. Have you ever fished out of one or rode in a fast boat ? fished out of a few bullets and rode in a couple strokers i never got beat up I agree, but I haven't ridden on 3-4 foot breakers. I fished out of a Bullet with 3 people plus a guide with no issues. I think though the money issue for the small manufactures and sponsorship is the reason all the guys aren't running them as stated before.
  6. 1. FPL lakes in Indian Town, FL 2. Breaker's West Lakes in western Palm Beach County, FL 3. Private farm pond in the middle of 2500 acres in Merriweather County GA (Brother was invited once to fish it and caught a 9, 8 and various 3-4lbs in less than 1 Hour from the bank! Lost his biggest fish ever and he has caught a 13lber!) 4. Some of the Disney Lakes that are off limits 5. Cuba 6. Bill Dance's Honey Holes 7. I can go 8. on 9. and 10. on

My cousin did it and it worked great. He is also in his early twenties and is motivated by chasing tale. He eats like crap though. If you do some research and workout like a manic and cut the crap I am sure you'll get similar results, but its great to have a dvd series to hold your hand along the way.
  8. ummm, water! Most people don't get enough and are dehydrated. Here are some more options: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/night-leg-cramps/MY00410/DSECTION=causes

  10. I would love to brag about my once mighty Noles, but the only hope I have is thinking back to my college days when we would beat up on the Gators and miss field goals occasionally to the Canes, ruining our chances of being #1........and being surrounded by hot sqauws, but now they call them Cowgirls? http://floridastate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=964015 ;D As long as we beat the Gators I could care less about the rest of the season. If we do at least we will be beating this year's National Champion (it pains me to say it)
  11. I think cork handles that are green stained and have pock marks are cooler than shiny new ones personally . Suffix bleeds bad I must admit, but I have had luck with Daiwa's Samurai.
  12. Popper works great in more open areas and Original 65 for heavier or more subtle presentations, both are great, but can't wait to try out Madd Maxx.
  13. Right On, EWG can hinder certain baits.
  14. Did you consider a Daiwa Zillion? They can cast light lures pretty well. Not sure if it has enough line capacity for your application, but I know they have a new Coastal Edition on the market. Although I believe all versions are salt water safe. I second the older Curado Series recommendation for bang for the buck. I owned my share of Revo's Premiers and although they are good performers I have either sold or returned each and every one of them.
  15. You've got the order right. I own or have owned all three mentioned. I love my Dobyn's and for the money its a good to great rod, but the G Loomis IMX is still tops.
  16. I guess who ever did the torquing on the bolts screwed up BIG TIME!
  17. I just took one apart and fixed it for my buddy. It does have a braking system under the palming plate. It is a 6-pin adjustable centrifugal brake system. I would not recommend the reel since he has had a problem with it and has owned it less than a year. Go with a Shimano Citica D series for around the same price, better reel in my opinion. For about $30 more you can get a newer E series.
  18. Cool link on keeping you existing motor running well http://www.themarinedoctor.com/decarb.htm
  19. I learned my lesson with tree catchers, so I only take people out that I know can fish, all others are shore bound. The guy is clueless! Leave it be not worth your time.
  20. Most mass production bass boats are bath tubs compared to Allison, Bullet, or Stroker, full tourny load or not, but I'll still take my Ranger for comfort. Here are some crazy go fast bass boats filling the NICHE:
  21. Moore haven canal toward the Monkey Box, cover as much area as you can with swimming frogs, water level is up to 12.5 so you should be OK. Flip the heavy cover where you start catching. ;D
  22. Avoid fotoconection at all cost they scam you and add additional unwanted items to your order. I have had great luck with Newegg.com
  23. I own an Olympus Stylus 790 SW that I used on my honeymoon in Hawaii, it performed great here is a pic from the pool at Fairmont Kea Lani. I really like all the featuresespecially the panoramic setting and underwater settings. If I were to buy another underwater point and shoot though it would be Canon's new PowerShot D10 I read a review on it and it beat out the Olympus, but its more than $100.
