I was told that all that is needed for the warranty is the part of the rod with the model number on it. Cut the rod down and send the small piece back to E21 in an envelope.

First order of business is to cut off those factory hooks, and upgrade to something sharp. I add a split ring to allow the hooks to swivel more to ensure a good hook up.....just me.

I was on vacation all last week. Every place I fished seemed to be in definite post spawn.

I dunno.... I miss that rush of tossing that big 1oz plug into the surf and having a 10lb Bluefish hammer it. 8-)

Yup, only 3 months old...

Snapped the tip off my Morris signature series yesterday. I made a cast, and when the rod came to rest in the forward position, the tip had snapped off. > Now, I can't find the receipt, and have never had to exchange a rod with BPS. Am I in for a ride, or have they taken care of you all? I thought I had read here that they have a no questions asked policy on the BPS rods (Bionic Blade, Extreme, Morris etc). Pretty bummed as this is one of the nicest rods I've fished. Plenty of power to bring in that 7.5 back in April.

I have two E21 rods...no problems to report.

Was great today until the wind quit at 9:30. Completely flat water=not good for fluke drifting. But anyway....

How often d you go out fishing? Once a month? Once every few months? We go every single weekend and sometimes 2-3 times during the week after work. On a given Saturday / Sunday we could spend 12 hours a day on the water. We work hard and then we play hard so the stuff is gonna get tested...know what I mean.

Met my friend Richard down at the dock this morning at 4:30 for a trip around Newport on his center console. Started off throwing topwater for Stripers and Blues. Landed about half a dozen nice bass that were an inch short from keeping (and one that was 1/2 inch short).We got one that was 30"..... Kept a few big Blues, and missed a ton more fish that would boil on the popper, but wouldn't commit. After the topwater bite cooled off we started a drift going for some Fuke. I ended up catching 5 keepers while my buddy Richard and his friend caught 6 apiece. Nothing like fresh Fluke for lunch and Bass on the grille for dinner...
