  1. Speaking of English..... I'm waiting for Long Mike to come break down this run on sentence. I can hardly understand it. :-?
  2. Caballero....20 years ago from "Ban This"
  3. No resume should ever have the word "stuff" in it.... :
  4. Nice pig!
  5. Not to hijack the thread from all you open wheel fans, but I personally like Ashley Force. Another young female who just won her first race in Top Fuel Funny Cars... 7000hp 4.8 seconds at over 300 mph. http://www.nhra.com/content/news/results/28472.htm
  6. I'm in, but I don't have any Evo swim jigs or finesse jigs. Haven't seen them available locally yet. I've been using (insert brand x here) lately because I only have the 3/8 Evo jigs. As you know, it's all about the compact 1/4 oz, 1/8 oz right now. The 3/8 oz is more of my summer go to jig....
  7. I have to check my eyelids for holes in about 15 minutes....
  8. Yeah, like Bowdish Reservoir.... Smith and Sayles Reservoir, Pascoag Reservoir, Wilsons Reservoir, Burlingame Reservoir, etc etc....
  9. If you've never seen Rodney Mullen skate, prepare to be blown away. 42 years old and still RIPS! How many other athletes are still going strong in their 40's? One of the true pioneers of skating!
  10. I thought I was the only one. IMO Santa Cruz Speed Freaks was the best vid of all time. Totally captured the lifestyle and feel of skating in the late 80's. Great soundtrack and some of the best footage. Just me I also like the Powell vids from BITD, I used to watch Ban this and Public Domain just about every day after school. Two words....Ray Barbee.
  11. Wow...that's crazy. You mean it's almost time for those 40 -50 fish days?
  12. ;D Sorry, that just struck me as funny! Get 'em next time dude!
  13. WRONG! Yo-Zuri Hybrid and Hybrid Ultra Soft both float, all sizes, all colors and in all water. They are not so buoyant that sinking baits are affected, but the line itself floats. I must have the only two spools that sink then..... or maybe it's our Northern Rhode Island water... Taken from the Yo Zuri website: "Because of the high density and specific gravity of fluorocarbon, Yo-Zuri HYBRID weighs more than nylon monofilaments. Casting distance is appreciably greater than similar diameter nylon lines because line weight is an integral component in achieving casting distance. Also, the hard, slick finish creates far less resistance as the line runs through the guides." If it weighs more, wouldn't it sink? I'm comparing it to PowerPro so maybe we aren't on the same page. Just seems your initial response was a little hostile.
  14. No it doesn't float, it sinks...as does flouro. I've used it for moving topwater baits like Jitterbugs and Spooks. I still like to stick with mono if the bait is going to be paused, like a popper. Just my preference. HTH
  15. Wow, I just had Tony Hawk flashbacks from the late 80's ;D You didn't look like that at work yesterday morning..or this morning...or whatever day that was..... :-?
  16. We used our tax return to make two months of mortgage payments. :-X
  17. I think the real question is, when do we revolt and start burning down gas stations? If Big Oil sees that we're willing to pay $3.50-$3.60 per gallon, than why not $4....why not $5? People are not going to stop buying gasoline.... we need to get to work, mow the lawn etc. Then there's that old expression..... "Got ya by the b@lls" Somebody's getting rich and it ain't us.
  18. We had similar results last year. Bass were hitting short, added some Megastrike to the plastic worms and they were just inhaling the bait. I actually caught a Brown Trout last weekend on an *** 7" *** that was coated with Megastrike. Fish seem to like it. Thanx Bobby!
  19. Agreed. Hang on to your @sses.
  20. On BFG Drag Radials it has run 8.09 @ 181 On Mickey Thompson Drag Radials it has run 8.05 @ 184 On slicks with a bigger blower it has gone 7.73 @ 193 It leaves hard, hangs the front wheels for 300 feet.... If you look at the bottom of the back bumper you can see how high it tends to go sometimes.....
  21. Well, I'm more than satisfied with the two that I own. Was gonna spend the money on a custom rod, but the deal didn't work out, so I bought two rods instead. I don't really get the whole "proven" theory. Here's my take. I hooked a Bass on my E21 rod.... reeled it to the boat, unhooked it, weighed it, photographed it and released it. I would say that it has "proven" to put fish in the boat.... 8-) Oh yeah, and they're ugly...blah blah blah. Nobody like my rods 'cause they're orange......
  22. Maybe I'm just biased.....having been in a few mags myself. http://www.mustang50magazine.com/featuredvehicles/m5lp_0705_1994_ford_mustang_cobra/index.html
  23. Sweeeeeet!
  24. Hot Rod? Does anyone still read that rag? Besides my old man?
  25. Started my nephew at age 2 with a Spiderman setup. My son will be 2 this year so it's his turn.
