  1. Here's to the Bass Resource Team
  2. I'm just about done with his book. I highly recommend it. He gives so much insight into his life before, and during his career. A great easy read. The guy puts so much pressure on himself, it's easy to see why he explodes when he lands a fish.
  3. Mac OS 10 (OSX) For the Win! :
  4. Whadya mean maybe? OSX FTW!
  5. Thanks for the kind words fellas. My setup pales in comparison to some of the setups out there. But, it's what I can afford right now. I'm trying to purchase only aquacultured species, as to reduce the environmental impact. The hobby has made leaps and bounds in the last ten years.
  6. I've been involved in the captive coral reef hobby for 12 years. Current tank is an Oceanic 58 gallon. Total system volume is 72 gallons including the sump. What a way to triple the electric bill every month!!! http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=770710
  7. 32 til July
  8. George I didn't know you were a Guide? :-[
  9. Ok, I'm seriously considering coming down with a buddy for a quick weekend. Neither of us can go to Guntersville, can't leave the wives and kids for that long. I checked out Jim Porters page for Stick Marsh. Any input for two dudes that wanna fly in and fish for a day? Since I left Florida in 2000 I can't remember what the closest airport to Vero is....I was down in Pompano/ Ft. Lauderdale. Thanx all.
  10. I'd like to see pics of how you mount the transducer if possible. Thanx Matt
  11. Strange...the grips on my Carrot Stick are pretty hard. Please no comments from the gutter...
  12. I use the Rapala braided line scissors.
  13. I'm posting Tin's and my own entry.... TIN Me
  14. So dissapointed. Was working the spook around sunrise....SPLASH!!! "Holy crap, get the camera ready! It's a giant!" Remember the sound effect from the "Price is Right" when someone lost?
  15. Eh, Shirley...Lynn... all the same.... :) I keed I keed! 8-)
  16. Leon, I'm in R.I. We got our rods from Simmons Sporting Goods. http://stores.ebay.com/SIMMONS-SPORTING-GOODS_W0QQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247 I was really interested in seeing a Cumara up close, but I have set a $150 cap on rods. (Well, actually, the wife did... :-[)
  17. I've had mine out for a few hours now. Thinking about brooming all my other rods and just buying Carrots from now on. It's that comfy.....(to me of course)
  18. Thanx for the heads up...setting up the DVR to record it!
  19. Nope....never made it past Algebra in HS!
  20. I'm not an expert on grips...but I love the Thermalon on my Carrot Stick. http://www.e21fishing.com/catalog.php
  21. Roger, I have some of the Owner Sled Heads. They carry them at Dick's and BPS...Use them as shakey heads. Great post by the way...Long Mike would be proud.
  22. A brand new truck could leave you stranded just as easily. I would be shocked if that 350 didn't run forever... FWIW, I drive a '98 F150 with 131k on it...sure I'd love a newer one, but right now I don't need a $350 a month payment. My truck is in pretty good shape, I'm looking forward to spending that small monthly payment on a Tracker to pull with my old truck Do what you can afford.
