Went up to BPS today. My buddy Rick was in the market for some new rods, and wanted to check out the Johnny Morris stuff. Turns out they were on sale from $169 to $109, so we bought 3! Really impressed...a definite upgrade from my BPS Extremes. Will keep the Carrot Stick for shakey head and finesse, and use the Morris for gettin jiggy with it.

Sweet. Got ya beat tho, today in the snow and freezing rain I delivered 155 packages ;D

Many of you may remember the black and white picture of my great grandfather taken in 1939 with his 39lb striper. It was taken in front of his summer cottage. I learned yesterday that the cottage on the island of Jamestown (R.I.) is for sale. The kicker is, he and my great grandmother got divorced back in (around 1951), and he GAVE the cottage away to spite her. It broke my grandfather's heart, because he and my dad would go down there to fish. My great grandfather was part of what is known as "Clarke's Village" on Beavertail (the southern tip of Jamestown) Even tho the house has been out of the family since the early 50's....I still feel emotionally attached, knowing the good times my grampa and my dad had there. So, to sum it up, here's what 657 sq feet right on the Atlantic Ocean will cost ya.... :'( :'( :'( Sucks to be us. Not even the cost of the property, but just the sentimental value. IMO it's impressive, considering he had to shift the car. I would bet the Mustang has a 2 speed Powerglide in it in order to run that fast. What's the race weight of the Mitsy/Talon? I understand that it has a 4cyl, but you're also talking AWD vs a Fox body Mustang that also more than likely weighs 3200-3400 lbs depending on a few factors. Just curious.....You asked what other hobbies we had I've been around a bit.

Out of all my lipless cranks, my favorites are the Red Eye Shad and the Yo Zuri Rattlin Vibe. Both run straight and make a ton of noise.
