Tin and I were out a few times this year and he kept asking how I liked the Yo Zuri ultra soft. I said that it was pretty good, but even when I wet the knot real well, it will still break once in a while when you cinch it down. I think I showed him 4 knots in a row that would break when cinched down slowly. Then, at other times, it will be fine.... just me....

Tin and I were out one morning...about 4am if I remember. We're slowly motoring out onto the main lake, and I said sleepily "Seriously, why do we do this every weekend? We come out here, catch this green thing, take a picture of it, then throw it back!" Don't really have an answer, just something I've done since I was about 3, same as my dad, his dad, etc. Must be the Scandinavian blood.....

Unless that's a costom job, it's not a Cordell. Cordell doesn't make any baits with stick-on eyes and that's not a Cordell color either. Plus the line-tie/split-ring location is farther back on the body of the lure than the Cordell spots. But it does look like a great bait. I just wonder about the action though. Cool! I've always had good luck with the Cordell Spots, that one looks like a winner. Keep us posted!

Yep, MattStrykul nailed it! It's a 1987 Crawdad that my neighbor gave to me. LBH is right, sometimes people just want to get that old eyesore out of their yard. I cleaned it up, bought a new drain plug and some rope for the free anchor and away we went. Put more fish in that bought this summer than I can remember. The boat stands me about $20 right now.
