I can live with it. Makes delivering packages a heck of alot nicer. ;D The last few weeks have been tough (for me) The jig bite has been slow (for me) and the name of the game has been dead sticking til you can't stand it any longer. I really enjoy power fishing, throwing a Rat L Trap or a spinner bait etc.... Went out today in Northern RI and put the smack down...the topwater bite was on early, then it switched over to a lipless crankbait kinda day. Burning a Yo Zuri Rattlin Vibe once the sun came up really turned up the heat. Wish I had tomorrow off! We ended up with 22 fish in 4 hours. My partner Rick caught 11 LM, and I caught 9 LM, 1 Pick, and a nice sized Perch...

Mike, remember last weekend when we went out, I was having the same problem with the 1/8 oz jigs. Lots of short strikes, but no commits. Russ suggested in my case it was perch hitting it.... Anyway, I'm out the door There's fish to be caught somewhere....

This is why I have my house alarm set at night to "instant" Once everyone who is supposed to be inside the house is in for the night, I set alarm to "instant". That way, if an intruder opens a window or door the alarm goes off instantly. You don't wanna be in the house when this happens. I set it off purposely to see what it was like. Words cannot describe. Sounds like you need to invest in a house alarm. Weapons and dogs are never enough. I have a 8 year old American Pitbull Terrier....probably the worst watch dog on the planet. They are just to trusting by nature. Now....Dalmations on the other hand..... On a related note, I am a big fan of the show "It Takes a Thief" on Discovery. One episode had John break into a house where the macho tough guy owner was bragging about his Staffordshire Terrier and German Shepard. Saying how John would be torn to shreds, blah blah blah, my dogs are man eaters etc etc.... Wouldn't ya know, John was able to pop a window and hop into the living room while the dogs just stood there. ;D

I have a St. Croix Triumph that has a Fuji reel seat. It keeps loosening up....very unhappy with it.

My son turned a year old last month, it is a CRAZY time! I was kinda freaking out during the pregnancy (our first). It's part of the whole deal.
