Where where you 6 years ago on this day
I was sitting on an "I" beam 95 feet off the ground in Bellingham, Mass. Building a new natural gas fired powerplant. Came down for break, walked into the trailer and saw the second plane hit on live TV. Being close to Logan airport, I will never forget turning to my buddy Nick and saying "when was the last time you looked up and didn't see ONE airplane in the sky"

WD-40
This was discussed in pretty good detail last fall. WD40 does indeed work as an attractant. In fact, my grandfather used it on cut green crabs when fishing for Tautaug here in New England. Not sure if it's a Yankee thing, but we've been using it for years. It is rumored that one of the secret ingredient in WD40 is fish oil.....just my .02.

BPS, they said it would ship this year...I think
As far as I know, BPS uses Fed Ex and the Post Office. My BPS Extreme rods came Fed Ex. I believe we lost the contract some time ago. I've never delivered any BPS stuff... We still have Cabela's tho

New loomis
Congrats! Sweet Deal! I have a 10'6 Loomis Surf Casting Rod that I love. Wish I could sneak a few Loomis bass rods past the wife. She doesn't know anything about fishing, except that the name G.Loomis means $$$ lmao ;D

is any one else having trouble
I struggled through the whole month of August. Didn't hardly catch anything... Headed out this morning at 4am for my first trip of September. Got up on the highway, and saw a bunch of lightning from the direction I was headed. Decided to call it a day and turned around and went back to bed...not worth it, since I was going solo. > Totally bummed. I do have two weeks off in a row starting next week tho....hmmm, what to do while out of work.... ;D

favorite Nascar drivers?
I don't think so, but then again I live in AR. I don't know how it's holding up in RI My favorite driver is Mark Martin(sad to see him retiring). He's not the best driver on the track, but he has always been the best person. He's also from NE Arkansas, which is a plus. Second, I like Kasey Kahne. My cousin (who's like my role model) races dirt tracks in the AMP series and MSRA series. He's doing pretty good this year (rookie) He's been in the top 5 in points all season. I guess Kasey reminds me of him. ...and just a note. I demise Montoya I'm speaking in general. The influx of Toyota....Gibbs switching to Toyota, Dale Jr without the #8, the list goes on and on. I'll stick with the fastest show on the planet, NHRA Drag Racing.

favorite Nascar drivers?
Davey Allison :'( Been a Matt Kenseth fan since he and Jr. were battling for Rookie Of The Year. That being said, NASCAR is pretty much dead IMO. Used to go to at least one race per year...haven't been in a few years now. They are doing there best to turn away the "core" group of fans by expanding. Sounds biiter, but you saw it coming. When the announcers are sipping wine and eating cheese in California.....I'm all set.

Detecting hit when jig fishing
I've been throwing a black 3/8 oz Evo jig with a black zoom trailer and keeping in contact with the bait. Bounce, bounce, bounce....pause, repeat....l

Detecting hit when jig fishing
+1, I use the 20lb PowerPro. Seems that most of my jig fish this year have absolutely crushed the jig when I bounce it UP off the bottom, not on the fall....something to ponder.
