So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
I ordered some glass beads off of Amazon, 8mm just got back home and had a chance to check them out. They came from the arts and crafts section. Multi color, not sure how they will fish but they look great. 300 beads for $8.50. This is quite a bit less than what the fishing supply folks will do on them. Even came in a good plastic box. Sromay Wholesale 300Pcs 8mm Briolette Faceted AB Crystal Glass Beads for Jewelry Making Findings with Bead Container #5040 Briollete Rondelle Assorted Colors Thanks @Catt

Thanks @jcdogfish, had not thought about the rentals. That would be a very bad thing to forget, thanks for the reminder. One of the ones we are looking at does have big water, it has been there since '88 so will be a good thing to take a long look at. Thanks

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
A little off topic, but going to post anyway! ? The wife and I are headed up Saturday to start trying to find us a place on the lake. We are looking on the Texas side somewhere between the very south end and up to Palo Gacho. It will be on the water, would like to find one with a dock so I can get to fishing and not have to do any construction. Going to look for something that will still have water to float the boat when the lake is at 168. Anything that you would be concerned about (other than camp structure/quality) that I may not have considered?

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
I went out with Jason about 2 weeks ago for just an electronics class on my Lowrance 9ti. I was happy at the end of the class, found out what I was looking at. We fished at a couple of the stops and what he was showing where good fish. We went in my boat, so it was on my electronics.

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
Well, made the trip. Did not have any luck Thursday night, did not find any of the humps with grass that I wanted to fish. Looked for grass Friday to fish that night found a couple of spots. About 6:30 weather turned ugly. Lightening all over did not get to fish, loaded up and came home. Going to play on the Sabine today and catch some marsh bass. Again thanks for all in insight you have shared with every one.

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
Catt, Thanks for the time you spent sharing information on Tbend. I am going to make my first night trip up that way since 2004.(started traveling for work) Was able to start fishing again in May of this year. Been chasing (and catching) flounder; ready for a little largemouth action now! Will be fishing out of the Six Mile area. I did make a run up there a few weeks ago just to see how much it has changed. WOW, most of the tree lines are gone. I am sure the underwater structure is still there though. Plan on fishing some humps on the north side of the old boat run and some that are located just south of the island at the end of the run on the Sandy Creek side. Hope I get to post a good report late Saturday when I get back home. Hope to meet you someday on the water. Tight Lines.
