  1. I love my Zillion too but Ive not got a fish on it yet . I paired it on a M action Fenwick thats more of a MH with 1/4-3/4 lure recommendations. It makes a great spinnerbait combo IMO.
  2. What event got you addicted to bass fishing? For me its this: She was the first decent fish I caught. I got her on a chart./white spinner on lake seminole.
  3. Cool pics, I especially like that daiwa lol.
  4. Ill be heading down to Seminole next Tuesday during my spring break. Anyone close to the Bainbridge/ Wingates Lunker Lodge area? Id be happy to talk to you while Im down there.
  5. Welcome I fish southwest VA also. My grandpa and I fish out of a 9'6" boat so I know how you feel. Do you ever fish the Big Cherry, Keokee, Wise area? If so were fishing the same waters.
  6. ;D I will probably end up buying one of these rods to put my first Shimano baitcaster on. I know... it's a sad day in Daiwa land. Not right All jokes aside theyre both great brands, Ive even thought about getting in to shimano but Daiwa always calls me back. I may try one someday though.
  7. I like my Viento/ TD-S for jigs a lot but Im soon to have a Sol/ Carrot Stick that will be pretty sweet too. The whole thing wieghs in at about 10.6 oz, not a steez set up but its still lighter than my other stuff.
  8. My trips usually cost $10-$15 in gas for the trip+a few days after that and a few bucks on some type of snack. I fish from a 9'6" basshound in a 300 acre electric only reservoir about 30-40 minutes from my grandpas house so its not bad at all.
  9. I have wierd dreams where Im fishing in an incredible pond thats somehow connected to my house, dreams where I catch parts of fish, and sometimes I think Im getting a bite and set the hook but manage to sustaine mild injuries at 3:00am
  10. Cough...cloverfield ;D
  11. I *** all of you guys, the mountain layout keeps out good snow and were far enough north that its still cold >. Speaking of that its been snowing off ad on all day.

Im on the golf team, its pretty fun. I recommend getting lessons. No matter how good you are they can always help. As for playing always think positive and try to have a good time, if you hit a bad shot its over, try not to let it ruin your next shot or the rest of the day.
  13. I fooled around with one last week and liked it although I did have to wash my hands twice afterwards
  14. I keep mine in the original package in those blue BASS bags they give you with a new subscription. I wound up with three so I keep worms/ flukes in one, craws/ multi-appendage type things in another, and my accesories in the last one. As long as you know what you have in them its not hard to find what your looking for.
  15. X2 on the Pure Poison 90% of the people around here throw tandem spinners, buzzbaits, hoolapoppers, and some type of worm, I use the chatter style because it gives them a new bait to look at.
  16. I like Ike because of his passion for the sport.
  17. Thanks for the replies. Looks like its spinning until I become a true master lol.
  18. Ah. We found fish but the wind was so bad you could do much of anything. Thanks Hawg Caller
  19. The other day I broke the lip off of a $12 crank and lost a Pure Poison. >
  20. At my favorite lake I belive I went all of last year with only 2 or 3 skunkages. When I go to a lake I havent been to in a while it gets nasty though.
  21. When I fish for bigger ones I like Rocket Shads, floating rapalas, and jointed shad raps. For any size you cant beat an inline.
  22. Id suggest getting some of that powerbait dough stuff. Rig it on a carolina rig type thing. My favorites are Lime Twist and orange.
  23. Is it just me or are their smaller balsas next to impossible to throw on BC gear? The minnow-rap for example wieghs 5/16oz but is 3 1/2 inches long so I gave up and just used my spinning gear.
  24. We didnt go to far past the ramp. Was it you who went by when we were getting a bait out of some rocks?
  25. Saturday I went to a lake Ive not hardly fished at all, and conditions were terrible. The wind was crazy and it was clear, so no fish. Today (sunday) I went to my favorite lake and caught a 14in on a crank and later a 21 that went about 4lbs on a jig. Neither were very fat but they fought well.
