Used again today on pond. Didn’t coil as bad seems like pretty good line but not near as good casting distance as 20 lb Smackdown

I put 8lb green on a Stradic FK 2500 and used Saturday. It casts pretty good but coiled pretty bad and I thought it had quite a bit of stretch. I have been using Smackdown with a leader so that's a hard comparison, but I will use it more to see if I like it any better.

I have some Curado 200 DHSV reels and like them really well only negative is weight 9.2 oz I believe. How do they compare to the Metanium MGL

I use GLX 852s or GLX 852c both work well for me

I fish jerks on spinning. GLX 852s with 2500 Stradic fk with 20lb Smackdown and 8lb Blue Label leader, works great

I eat some out of my 2.5 acre pond. Some need to be taken out each year to keep from overpopulating. I NEVER keep until after spawn is well over. I keep around 20 per year. I never keep bass out of lakes I fish.

Never fished St Clair, where would be a good place to start for smallmouth. Have a Lund 2025 Pro V that will be fishing out of. Thanks for any help John

I have 2 852s in GLX and I don't see how you could do better for a bass spinning rod unless maybe an NRX

I like getting some good pictures and then taking the best and doing an 11x14 in a nice frame and putting on the wall

I did the Revelation REV610MXF done by Tigerodz and is very nice. All my other rods are G Loomis GLX and I don't feel that I gave up anything going this way.

I've caught a lot of largemouth, smallmouth and walleye on the 4 inch on jigs. I always have one tied on to one of my rods

I just had UPS drop new rod about an hour ago. Had a drop shot rod built from a Rainshadow Revelation 6'10" drop shot blank by Scott Dobbins of Tigerodz. My other rods are all Loomis GLX and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Rainshadow is. Scott is a great guy to work with
