It tightened the line guide tighter against the axle (not sure the proper name). I could literally slide the guide back and forth before with my finger, now it sits snug. Is the pawl the line guide itself?

I'm an idiot......I figured it out. There is a nut underneath the line guide which was loose!.......Glad I don't have to return it! Love the reel.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased my first baitcaster and noticed my line roller (levelwind?) doesn't move back and forth sometimes creating build up on one side? Any ideas why? line too tight? not tight enough? too light of a lure? Thank you for any help. Reel is a Kastking Assassin w/50 lb braid, mono backing, fluorocarbon leader.
