Lens Color Help
Costa does have their own prescription lenses, they have little costa symbols etched into them. I like the silver mirrored which is a gray base for almost everything...

A boy scout I am not...
Anyone else struggle with certain knots? I use one, I think its called a cinch knot for just about anything I need. Now recently I have a dilemma, I've always used a tiny swivel for any kind of fishing that I needed to use a leader for...but that's not always the best choice for many applications...so here I am at almost 41 years old...with decades of fishing under my belt, admitting that I just plain SUCK at tying fancy knots lol. Anyone have a go to line to line knot that is easy to tie and works well??

Guides in Florida
You looking for bass or saltwater? About an hour south of Palm Coast is Mosquito lagoon, this time of year they should be slaying them with the cold weather we've had...the redfish, trout and snook all school up in deeper warmer holes.. Brian Clancy (386) 566-6303, top shelf operation

Favorite water you've fished.
I used to travel a lot for my current employer and my former...and I always carry a travel rod with me wherever I go. I have fished all over this great land of ours from sea to shining sea, and across the purple mountains majesty. But if I had to pick one body of water to fish for the rest of my life...that is easy, right here at home on the mighty St Johns river. Trophy bass to the south, to tailing bull Reds to the north, it has enough diversity to keep you busy for a lifetime full of fishing.

To my fellow quantum fans
I've got 2 Smoke spinning reels and never had an issue with either, the speed freak 30 I have is my favorite for fishing over oyster beds for redfish

Fishing fathers
2 girls, a 10 yr old and a 14 yr old that's not grown but certainly thinks she is. They have both always enjoyed hunting and fishing with me, mostly I think like you said just to hang out with Dad and eat junk food that Mom wouldn't generally condone. Having said that...as they have both gotten older and developed into "young women", they are much more picky about what constitutes a fun time hanging with Dad and have no problem telling me that. Last summer I had a proud Dad moment when telling my oldest it was time to go...I got the "one more cast Dad" she had taken one of my rods and was out there pitching a worm...it was awesome.

Saltwater anyone?
I've been going back and forth on this whole Venice LA deal...talked to a lot of people that said it is all it's cracked up to be..but others will say anywhere in the Gulf is just as good if not better. One thing about LA is the limit is definitely higher...I'd love to be able to keep 5 slot reds for the cast iron skillet

Saltwater anyone?
several places up in here Jax like that, my favorite creek off the ICW is full of bass and snook...well was until we had this last 3 weeks of cold temps...seen a lot of snook floating belly up

The ideal troll motor
I like making multiple passes over the same area, at varying speeds until I am satisfied I have covered every nook and cranny..now granted I am not doing a lot of weaving in and out of stump fields with my boat. Stumps and fiberglass don't make good company. My Terrova gives me the freedom to pick out my path, record it and then repeat it at any speed with the touch of a button..and if I want to change it up and fish from the front, back, or anywhere in between I am not tied to the bow and having to work the TM.

Minn Kota Ulterra Users
I have the Terrova, the slightly overweight, not quite as pretty younger sister to the Ulterra..does most of the same stuff without the auto deploy and while I LOVE it...there has been times when I wish I would have dropped the extra coin and bought the Ulterra

What’s your favourite online retailers
I like posts like this, I'm always looking for places that have good deals..Alot of times its hard to get something local because if a certain lure works well in that area most of the time it's sold out.

Power poles
Minn kota makes a smaller slightly different version of a power pole that may work better, having said that I see a lot of skiffs that run a dual power pole setup with no problems
