  1. Looking forward to hearing about it. Does look like a lot of reel for the price.
  2. As much as I hate to admit it due to some of the fishing employees lack of knowledge and customer service at local store it is BPS. You can't beat the selection and only 15min away makes a huge difference. Other locals like Gander, Sportmans, and Dicks have a small bass fishing section. At least the ones around here. Cabelas is nice also but closer to an hour away. Long drive, jk. There are several online I like. Not to many local shops around me due to BPS.

Also take a look at the river2sea frog, similar to a spro but 5.99 at cabelas all the time. Also has a nice groove on the bottom to give it nice action on open water fished like a top water. http://www.river2seausa.com/t/bullywa.html
  4. Have to take a look, like the newer sub walkers. Thanks
  5. really like the look of those, just havent had a chance to use them yet. They make great frogs too. Other than than I use a lot of terminators, Nichols and going to try Bitin Titans which are made in Michigan. Looks like a nice slow roller. Local bass pro has the T2's in the back room. Nice big box of them.
  6. I signed up back when they first sent the email in December but have a hard time even knowing who most of the FLW guys are. Let alone pick some.
  7. I am buying bass. Looks cheap by the looks of it. I am still hearing the Gander Mountain rumor though. lol
  8. Use to wear dunhill desire blue back in the day. Havent worn cologne is at least five years though.
  9. Nice pics. Haven t seen a fox around since I was a kid. I want one of those pups. :
  10. Great quarterback. Lions could have used him back in the Barry Sanders days. Well still need a QB.
  11. Just to get back with you, the 103 is from what I hear is great for pitching and flipping and light soft plastics. It has the V style spool as opposed to the flat that the 100 has. I would guess you can get a cheaper reel that is similar though. I have the zillion and use the 7.1 for buzz and 6.3 for spinners and 4.9 for cranks. They cast great. Never really thought of it as a pitching reel though. Again in Michigan not a lot to pitch or flip too. I have a steez 103 on hold waiting for the the reel trade in but think I am going to go with the 100 due to looking to throw heavier baits. Its my first steez though and look forward to using it. Hope this mess was some help?
  12. I feel you. Just think though it is coming soon and gives use something to look forward too. Just needs to happen now.
  13. Wow.. Thank you sir. I appreciate it. Sent you a pm.
  14. Great looking pics, love the Eagle. Always an amazing bird to see in person. Gives me butterflies on the rare chance I do see them in person.
  15. Its a long drive can you send a fellow member one? Jk. Love the mask though but no matter what seem to scratch up the lens even if in case.
  16. Nice looking pics and write up. Looks nice to see the ice leaving the water. Hope it does here soon also.
  17. Just a heads up, if you are looking at autos I have seem them go off in heavy rains and water coming over side on rough rides. They make a Hydrostatic Activation system that avoids this but cost more.
  18. Depends on what you are using it for? The only time I have use flouro on spinning is for drifting tubes in the river which doesn't mess the line up too bad due to limited cast. Used 10# for that but might try 8# this year. Never used it for finesse though on spinning. Curious to see what people are thinking about the trilene though, report back.
  19. Its not on your list but the Steel 103 is a great pitching and flipping real Should be though for the price. Don't do a whole lot of either here in Mich though, not a lot of thick stuff to do it with.
  20. When I was still getting use to baitcasting I used spinning for real light cranks but have since switched to casting for all cranks.
  21. I personally don't think so. The z boats get up pretty quick and if mainly fish small lakes there isn't a need there. Just depends though some people love them. Never had one so no expert here, been in plenty of boats that do and didn't seem to be an advantage most the time. Almost all the ones I see at dealers are already rigged with them though.
  22. Got a Mustang Hydrostatic last year for birthday and wear it anytime on St.Clair river and the Detroit River because the current is go great. During tournaments it is easier just to leave it on instead of off/on. It is comfortable and even on the hottest days doesn't seem bad. I need to get in the habit of wearing it anytime I am alone. As stupid as it sounds feel dumb wearing it on inland lakes. I figure by myself though I need to start.
  23. Still like franks for just all around use not to powerful. Have been cutting back though. The burn on exit isn't fun sometimes. Anything to hot really magnifies this. ouch..
  24. yeah nice price. really like that line. I am not sold on the split grips yet. I have to suck it up and but one and see if it will work out.
