  1. Lews higher end and Denali rods . Tried dobyns fury and want a fan at all
  2. Texas tackle user here too!
  3. Owner twist lock 4/0 hooks have been perfect for weightless senkos!
  4. I have the kvd spinning reel and fit and finish is good ! It was laying line down top heavy! Called Lews and they sent me a couple of the washers for the spool and that fixed the issue.
  5. Practice practice practice.... spinning setup is definitely the easiest. I found a less whippy rod to be easier to skip senkos on. Now bait caster setup I use a Lews black tp1 7ft senko rod and a daiwa sv tw reel with 30lb braid and have no issues skipping. All from the bank too!
  6. The 60 size has a loud plop and works great for ponds and rivers . I’m Casting on a spinning rod and have no issues .
  7. 3/8 and with a trailer it’s closer to 1/2 oz anyways
  8. Yamamoto all the way! But I’ll throw dingers when pond fishing or let friends try them etc
  9. Owner twist lock hooks.... problem solved lol
  10. Decoy egg snaps are convenient and aid with action !
  11. 2 dobyns fury 705cb rods - way to noodle like for my taste and not much lure feedback... plus I crank around grass often.
  12. River 2 sea s waver is probably the best bang for the buck . Trout color works pretty well
  13. I have one lipless that came with them installed back when trapped was in business , super sharp sticky hooks ! And haven’t had any issues with them. I purchased a couple packs when I saw them on sale at tw.

  15. Is this a current coupon ? I haven’t gotten that email yet ?
  16. Always been a braid user myself ! 10lb on spinning outfits and 30 on bait casters but will use a 12 inch mono leader on treble hook applications to avoid the annoying hook tangle on the braid .
  17. Bad to the bone has got me a few and oyster as well.
  18. Senko Texas rigged and then a yo zuri wake bait . Both best the best producers this year
  19. Strike king sexy dawg or jr in bone. Very easy to walk ! Practically walks itself.
  20. Ordered two ! Should be good in local shallow creeks and smaller ponds
  21. Denali attax series or dobyns fury are good choices
  22. Have a link ? Didn’t see any size 60
  23. Lews handles are a direct fit for daiwa reels . The have Several knob colors and even carbon fiber handles if you want to get fancy. Lews are 95mm long as well. I switched out several of the the stock daiwa handles in place of lews
  24. Very effective, especially over grass. I used them in a few shallow spots as well and worked great. Used strike king and yo zuri brands . Bass pro has a cheaper house brand wake bait as well
  25. Picked up some 30# and it was literally coming appart as I tried to spool it . Braid was frayed in some spots and not from guides or anything. Took some pics and sent power pro a email about it . Had some sufix 832 So I spooled it up and was good to go
