  1. Metanium DC vs Scorpion DC are the smallest correct? Which of these is smaller? ALl I want is the smallest DC reel I can find.
  2. So far I have heard and read Scorpion DC Metanium DC Antares DC. How do these stack up in size? I am looking for something the same size or smaller than a Zillion SV TWS. Can someone please confirm which of the above is similiar in size? Which is the smallest?
  3. Thanks. I have a zillion SV TWS, any close to that size? iF so which one?
  4. Simple question, I have a steez love it. I want a DC reel but I like the smaller profile, the steez is perfect. Are there any DC model reels that compare in size?
  5. Medium Rods - Z-Crank vs Cyclone. Both are Medium Regular rods, very similar weights. Trying to understand the why one over the other. only difference I can see from specs is that Zcranks is a little longer. Cyclone is described as an all around use rod. So is it safe to to say it can do what the Zcrank can do but not the other way around.? Which would you pick and why? I am leaning towards Cyclone in this battle. Is there any reason to have both? Medium-Heavy Rods - Blade vs Madbull. Both are Med Heavy rods, similar action and same lure and line weights. One is classified as a bladed rod (whatever that means) and one is a deep crank rod. Seems like not enough of a difference to me. The only difference is 2in and Blade is MH/MF and the Madbull is MH/F. Does that have any real word difference? Which would you pick and why? Do we need a dedicated bladed rod? or a dedicated crank rod?? I am confused as these seem very similar and need to understand why one over the other - Thoughts?? is there any reason to own both? Heavy Rods - Xbites vs Super Destroyer vs Tachyon Shaft. All are MH rods. Only difference is minor in lenghts. Biggest different is in taper. Xbites is Xfast, SD is MF and Tachyon is R. I have read that the X-bites is like an NRX sensitive bottom rod, but then what is the tachyon shaft? Tachyon is described as "fastest and hardest Hook sets" - what does that mean?? Where does the Super Destroyer fit into this heavy rod lineup? It is describes as the most versatile of the heavy line up but can it be a bottom contact rod? Of these 3, which would you pick and why? Is there any reason to own all 3? SPECS BELOW F1-63X PopX Stick - Beautifully crisp small finesse hard bait rod! F2-60X Cliffhanger - All around precision Bait Finesse rod! 6. I bought the antares Dc MD - its a big reel! not sure if i’m going to keep it as i like smaller profile reels. is there any DC model that is similar in size to the Steez SV?
  7. how does the metanium 100 size compare to a steez sv?
  8. which DC Model is the smallest? i like smaller profile baitcasters.
  9. what is a swinging jig head?
  10. Trying to decide between these, the Steez is smaller lighter, the Antares has that awesome sound and maybe better distance, not sure. I need to hear from those with experience with both - What are the pros and cons of each. If you could pick one, which one would you pick and why?
  11. Any other thoughts?
  12. I really need some help between these 2 decisions Z-Crank vs Cyclone. Both are Medium Regular rods, very similar weights. Trying to understand the why one over the other. To me, its seems the Cyclone would be better, looks like it can do what the Zcrank can do but not the other way around. Zcranks is a little longer. Which would you pick and why? I am leaning towards Cyclone in this battle. Blade vs Madbull. Both are Med Heavy rods, similar action and same lure and line weights. One is classified as a bladed rod (whatever that means) and one is a deep crank rod. Seems like not enough of a difference to me. Similar lengths etc. Which would you pick and why? I am leaning towards the Madbull just becuase of the carbon fiber handle. Looks good - no other reason. Thoughts?
  13. Anyone have any input as to the Madbull vs the Blade?
  14. Thanks. How do the Lucias models stack up? considering them vs the tarula
  15. is the main difference just dropping the weight down? anyone use this in the winter?? i’m thinking the Jika/Tokyo or even a shaky head might be something to try if the fish are down deep?
  16. i was referring to all of the above, do u add trailers to spinnerbaits and jugs etc? worms to hooks etc? the other one is do you tie it to a leader like in the case of a spinnerbait so that you can use snaps more often and save time on the water. i am a rookie and most of my rods i have a snap on the end, if i have to rig a texas rig, then obviously ill cut it off but thats the just of it. ajouks i have a few punch rigs with a leader tied to a swivel or snap or O-ring so i can just snap that the snap on my line
  17. Thanks! This isnt on Daiwa site.
  18. I am curious to hear form those who have used both. In general, which would you prefer and why? Also, in the megabass lineup, see below, trying to narrow it down a little, again any thoughts from folks who tried both? I would like to hear thoughts on the Cyclone vs Z-Crank? I would like to hear thoughts on the Blade vs Madbulll? I would like to hear thoughts on the Tachyon Shaft vs X-Bites? F1-63X PopX Stick - Beautifully crisp small finesse hard bait rod! 19. Do you have any info on that? None on the website.
  20. Isnt a swivel and a snap the same thing? I am consuded as to how are they pre-rigged? do you tie them line to line?
  21. I hate tying on lures and like to use swivels wherever possible. I am just curious if anyone pre-rigs certain baits or rigs like for instance punch rigs or even spinnerbaits? Anyone do it? Any cons in doing so?
  22. I see several versions of this reel but cant fund anything about the differences online. Can anyone shed some light?
