  1. No, tried one once, didn't come close to holding all the packages of worms I had, and I didn't feel like spending $15 each on 4 or 5 more. I find its easier to keep them all in a plastic bin, throw that in the car, and pick out what i want.
  2. I have a Gerber and 3 Leathermans. I like the Gerber but the thumb stud on the blade broke off and I put a nick in the hardwire cutter. I think I like the Leathermans better.

    Personally, I like "roscoe" ;D
  4. I've used a small gold hook and waxworms or small jighead and waxworms, thrown on a 10' Sam Heaton Crappie rod. Live worms work well too if you don't mind feeding the blueys. They are very adept at getting that piece of worm off he hook without getting hooked.

An unloaded and locked gun is a rock.

Several thousand, combined calibers. I plan to buy more.
  8. If they came out with a new version this year (2010) then I have an older version. I was still very disappointed in the game and, due to the cost of Wii games, I am unlikely to give the new version a go.
  9. Don't waste your money on the Rapala game.
  10. If you are allowed resident status after 30 days, is there any way they would know exactly what date you moved into the state? I can certainly understand the 30 day wait to prevent someone from coming in, using a friends address, claiming they were moving there, just to circumvent the residency requirement and get a cheaper license for a day or a week. But your circumstance is rather unique and military are obviously granted some leeway on licensing requirements. Your decision was probably the most ethical of the three choices, but I don't see anything wrong with claiming residency status.
  11. Could've been worse. He might have been forced to eat something else.
  12. Those are the best WWII pictures I have ever seen.
  13. This is a guy who can't even figure out his hat is on backward. I LOVE country music. Too bad this stuff isn't. I quit listening to it years ago went it went to the pop side.

Classic, wholesome tv. I still watch it whenever possible. I couldn't even tell you what's on primetime.
  15. Wow! I can think of some good uses for all that firepower.
  16. Run 1 piece of cable (romex) to the ceiling light from the outlet. Attach the the white wire from the outlet to the light fixture. Leave the black loose. Take another piece of cable and connect the black lead to the ceiling fixture and the white lead to the loose black lead from the outlet, with wire nut. Then make a white connection and a black connection at the switch. That way, you always know the hot lead at the ceiling fixture and the white/black connection indicates that it goes to the switch.
  17. I don't watch horror films as a rule, but one I enjoy, when you can find it, is the original House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price.
  18. The longest sentence in the world. You beat me to it.
  19. Bear Grylls was on tv last night. He was trekking across some desert some place, got thirsty, so decided to have a drink of his urine that he was carrying in a snakeskin. I believe he said it wasn't too appealing. I was about to wretch, he just about did.
  20. I have several Canon cameras that I use professionally. Every once in awhile I get an "error 99" code which means "something is wrong but we don't know what since it could be a bunch of things" Turning the camera switch to off will not reset the camera. I have to open up the battery door, take out the battery and reinsert it. Then it will work just fine. Same deal I guess. Turning the switch to off only shuts down certain functions. I always understood that there was a certain sequence to booting up computers, routers and modems. If not done in the proper order, they won't work.

  22. Sounds like you need to drink more beer. Last time the gf had them the doc said to have a beer every couple of days. I guess it helps break up and pass the mineral deposits. Another doc told my grandfather the same thing. Guess I misunderstood my doctor. I thought he said have a couple of beers every day. ;D
  23. I had one get tangled in my fishing line a couple of weeks ago. I was close to home so I carried the rod home, got heavy gloves, then cut the hook off the end. I cut the other end and he fell to the ground, apparently was able to shake free of the short piece of line and took off. They buzz my line all the time but this one just didn't have his radar working.
