  1. Cliff, very nice work man I like the subtle hints of color you add, really sets the bait off.
  2. Very nice work Marty If I had to pick just one, I'd pick #3, cool pattern. I think its an added touch of class the way you sign each one of your baits
  3. I've heard good reports on the ultrasoft. I looked at the local BPS and they don't have it, I may get some from TW and try it out.
  4. DBatey, nice work, I like the craw pattern also. I was thinking if you added a little of the yellow color to the bottom of one of the red craw,oh yea, hang on ;D Nice looking baits.
  5. Thats a cool looking paint job...I'll say Stringjam
  6. Nice looking spinnerbait skeeterman. I picked up a couple bluegill colored spinners last year. I need to try them more, they look good.
  7. Roger, very good post. I guess just when we think we got the bass figured out, they throw us a curve, and thats maybe their defense against their predator(fishermen). :-/ Some of the watersheds I fish have real clear water, and I seem to do best on loud colored crankbaits such as the redfire Bomber, Imakatsu red craw, or Bandit spring craw, and the main forage in the small lakes is bluegill and shad. ;D
  8. Stringjam, I haven't done real well in the lakes I fish on FT, but maybe its because I haven't gave it an honest effort. But, man, that is one bad looking FT color that is an awesome paint job!
  9. The one by Jawjacker in my avator( the pic I borrowed from Stringjam), and here is a couple more http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/Square%20bill%20Cranks/
  10. I like the wec z-1's, I'm not sure if the wobbler is considered a true square bill, but its one of my fav's anyway ;D, and a couple by Jawjacker.
  11. Yea its good to hear that some companies still have good customer service. Somewhat off the topic, a couple years ago I broke where the latch fastens on to my plano 737 tacklebox, and plano sent me a whole new box, no charge
  12. Looks cool Fishwhittler. Its going to look tough when painted up.
  13. I haven't tried the pitchin craw, it does look cool. I've used the Roboworm, red crawler and Aarons magic, with some success. I wish they came in resealable bags though.
  14. Nice work I like the patterns on # 1 & #5, but I like the loud colors on bait #2.
  15. It may be crazy, and I know its a good reel, but it still is a little out of the price range, but I put it on there to humor some people and just for a few sh!@s and giggles. I can understand the out of price range part, just not sure about the sh!@s and giggles : LOL, I can understand that, I figured since the poll had been going so long that the REVO added in wouldn't show its true numbers. I agree. And its not that I'm knocking any of the other reels, and I was reffering to the Revo stx, which I see now wasn't the one you added anyway :-[
  16. I have a Revo stx older model, a winch and a 4600c4. I like them all, but I think the revo stx is the best I own. Casts lighter lures better. If down the road I buy another reel, it will be a lower geared revo stx

  18. I gotta get out my hollywoods to look at the blue lure, ;D That blue color is an eye-catcher for sure, man thats loud, cool color.
  19. Cliff, very nice work man. They all look good, but I really like the bluegill pattern. and, I'm sure they look much better in hand http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/Cliffs%20custom%20paint/
  20. Thanks for all the replies. Seems like many of you try matching the hatch, and what is a little odd is a few of the small watersheds I fish the main forage is bluegill and/or shad, pretty clear water, but I do best on loud colored cranks, Bomber redfire craw 6a/7a. Have you ever had the bass just flat tear up a certain crank for maybe a year or two, and then turn flat cold and not buy a fish? I've had several colors just turn cold over time, or, I tell me fishing buddies that the bass just went to " school" , or got the word out. ;D
  21. I had to vote for the Revo. It was the only reel listed that I've used, and I'm very pleased with it, and really like the way it casts lighter lures
  22. I'm sure conditions may vary, but I was just curious what some of your guys best producing crankbait colors are? Here are some of mine that I've done well on. Bomber model 6a in redfire craw, brown craw, bream and Bandit model 200 spring craw and model 300 in Tenn. shad. http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/Regular%20cranks/?action=view&current=Favregularcranks.jpg
  23. I think you will like it and that is a good price on it also. If I get another one I'd look at the lower geared stx for light crankbaits.
  24. They are looking real cool guys
  25. I'll try to add a more direct link to the pics instead of the slideshow, sorry. : http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/Cliffs%20custom%20paint/
