If you are under 16(might be 17 now), here in Kansas as long as you’re hunting with someone over 21 that has their hunters safety and hunting license, all you need is a tag. You might check and see if it is the same for Maryland. All I had to spend to shoot a buck was $13.

I’ve been using the new St. Croix Bass X, and it will launch light baits. It is a medium rod, and has plenty of backbone to set the hook. I just got the rod, and haven’t caught any fish on the ned with it yet, but it is a great rod and really sensitive. Caught a bunch of fish on it today throwing a small jerkbait. I’ve got the 7’1 medium fast.

No action on the ned today. Replaced it with a Duo Realis Rozante from @Bluebasser86, and caught a few smallies and some largemouth.

Try and swim it. Cast it out, give it a second to sink and slow reel it and throw in a couple twitches and pops. They’ll throttle it. Gonna go out and swim a ned rig tomorrow.

Wacky rig. I hate fishing this thing. Pretty sure it’s a medieval form of torture. I’ve caught one fish on it, and it was about 10 inches long.

I’ve lost one buzzbait, I threw it so much that the blade burnt the wire in half. That buzzbait sang like Mariah Carey, as Gerald Swindle says. That $1 walmart buzzbait caught me tons of fish.

lol thanks. I searched every buzzbait I could find, then I saw it in an Ad on a Japan Fishing tackle email.

In the video, it made a ton of bubbles and kinda shimmied back and forth. Didn't sound much different though.
