  1. I went fishing and I caught these bass
  2. I'm just trying to learn since my favorite park is off limits lol it seems we're lagging a bit from last year at this point in our season here, it's been a slow warm up. I've never seen this many dead threadfin as i did this year. I'll say that it's relieving to see them roll up to a few of the places I regard as duds and have the same experience if they can't get it done in those spots then I don't feel bad about it, and it makes me feel better about my spot choices.
  3. yeah if he'll get out of pond creek, that place doesn't turn on real great until shad spawn. i'd be in pierce spring, lick creek, sand branch, and the south-opening creekbeds at the state park where they're doing weigh in. I bet you sunday is when the biggest bass get caught, cold front coming through that evening.
  4. i don't know pro fishing, so i don't know how the time periods and stuff work. It won't be one guy, but first place as a position will be in that range I should clarify, not to win, but to be in first each day. I think winner is in the 50s it is pretty strange to watch my fishing spots on TV. a lot of these guys fishing shallow are in places I recognize.
  5. I think this will end up taking 30+ daily average to win (edit: to be in first each day) it's not a pleasant day out there and it's not going to get much better tomorrow, south 15-25. running main lake is gonna be bouncy, northwest and straight south winds stack up here pretty hard. I'd be fishing the east shore, the protected points. also find the invasive milfoil
  6. I'm watching a few of these livestreams going "man these guys are fishing spots I've never seen marks on before" and "there was no bait up in there monday" we stalled out on our warmup here and some of these guys are on either side of the stage we're actually on logan parks was up on a spot I have fished a lot thinking I was gonna do something but blanked every time. I don't think he found anything there and I'm just so shocked
  7. Sometimes, ice is a dish that is best served...cold ice water is just a marketing ploy by big ice to sell more ice
  8. this one time, i went to lake whitney and took my civic down this trail with my friend. we opened the door and saw an unbelievable amount of deer bones, and a fresh deer leg just outside my door. I didn't see the actual predator, but I believe that was a mountain lion den
  9. this usually works for me down here in texas, but when it doesn't I also carry a texas fishing license
  10. Heavy is the shrimp that fries that rice
  11. When I have to deal with the peghead bushings on my buddy's ES-335
  12. me when I use my walking bait to retrieve the choppo 120 i just yeeted into the lower stratosphere
  13. I picked up one of these in a 7' heavy/fast a week or so ago. Good rod. Feels like a stiffer and matte finish daiwa airdx. It's lightweight for the price and a little more sensitive than the airdx. I'm happy with it
  14. They don't have enough players on the roster right now to tank. They have more guys out than in right now. I think there's an eight man roster for tonight against Milwaukee? They don't even have enough cap space to sign 10 day players because they took all 9 million back in the Caleb Martin trade. This is some of the worst GM work I've ever seen in professional sports, and I watched the Oilers in the mid 2010s. It's mind blowing that he did all this and still has a job. All I can say is, thank the good lord for Jim Nill, GM of the Stars. He's putting on a masterclass of how to structure a player group for extended and present success. I just wish he could get better coaching. I live on the north side close to Ray Bob, moved here in 93 at the age of 2 lol
  15. This looks especially bad now, RIP Kyrie's ACL
