I ahven't ever caught any bass on Licorice. To those of you thinking what the heck I just figured I'd try it and even if it don't work for bass it will work for carp and catfish. I tried riggin it wacky style it was a piece about 4 in long and it was black but it didn't get much time on the hook cause it rips off about every third cast or so because I had to snap cast it cause we was in the crick.

Now thats good if it ain't true ;D

I was always told that if you go days without catching a single fish, rub baking soda on your hands and it will help you catch fish. The reason I was told was because it neutralizes acids on your hands that the bass can smell and do not like so they won't bite whatever you are usin. Thankfully I have never had to try this mainly because I generally catch at least one fish every time I am out.

I think this one is true because it makes your fingers and hands itchy when you get spiked.

Yep totally BS not at all true this will more likely than not kill the fish. I always try to remove the hook and if I can't I seriously think about keeping these fish. Although most fish will be fine if they bleed a little bit so I generally release most of them after getting out the hook.

These are all very true I am sixteen and can remember my dad correcting as he still does to some point. What I think is restriction is actually protection from his point of view. He doesn't really like fishing that much right now because he is trying to get things done for the rest of the family so we can all live a happier life but he still takes time out of his busy schedule to go with me when I go fishin on occassion. These trips are some of the most enjoyable trips that I can remember in my recent memory.

Can you eat these fish? I have heard of people doing out of the Mississippi but never tried it. If so what are some good recipes.

I don't know about you but that knot looks more complicated and more time consuming than a palomar which I have been using for a while now and have had no trouble with slipping or any other things of the sort I use stren 12# high impact but have been thinking about trying fireline. Any thoughts?

And what happenns when he bends over and looses all them lures oh then he would be ticked off at himself for trying to pull off such a stupid trick ;D

Actually I was probably closer 4 but still I can't remember what my first catch was. I can remember that when I was about8 I caught my first pickerel on a piece of corn, to date that is the only pickerel I have ever caught.

Oh yeah forgot you can get haddock at most grocery stores.

I generally only keep trout and a smallie here and there not real ofen but they are both good fried also haddock is good it is not real fishy to me but we fry all ours so I can't help you with any recipes or anything. Sorry.

Ditto I have had several on but they always come off they shake it free somehow I don't understand I get a good hookset and they are on clean in to where I can see em then they are gone.. I just don't understand. Oh, my guess is pushin 4#

Ha that's nothin I played for close 15 minutes but it was entertaining although I think they should put that gay guy from california oh wait micheal jackson on there.

What "big motor" could you show off up there? ok, all done :-X The one thats hangin off the back of his bass tracker all its doin is just hangin there no power otay it probably gots plenty of power but in cowans gap it just hangs there like bluegill on a stringer ain't nothin to be real proud of because every fish is a fish to be proud of it just ranges from bein really proud to bein not very proud.

Well I live in central pa and me and my buddy went out tuesdayy and did pretty good . Now I know that it ain't near that hot here but I caught 2 13 inchers and 1 14 with a couple smaller ones which is pretty good for me I caught 3 googlie eyes. My buddy caught 18 smallies several of which were at least thirteen, he caught 11 googlie eyes and 2 fall fish now I know that a fall fish ain't nothin to brag about but one of them suckers was pushin two ft long since we didn't get to measure it and didn't get a picture of it it is just a fishin story. We both also had one each on that were both definitely legal out of the same hole isn't this kinda odd beins that they are aggressive predatory fish. My bigger fish were all on a 5" senko but the smaller ones were on a 6" Strike King floating lizard texas rigged with weight. I don't exactly understand this either I was always told bigger bait bigger fish so this confuzzed me. The only thing I can say is that this is not always true.

Yup me and moby do this all the time it is fun and it is a lot cooler than bein on a boat all day but I have a tendency to fall in almost every time we go, I guess that just means I need to do it more often ;D

I have done this before but now rarely use a swivel I tied a taut line hitch and then tied overhand knots on either side of it but I still lost the worm bucause the swivel was too weak but I do not think that the loop came out.
