what is everyones favorite skipping set up?

i have an old shimano bantam like the really old ones that don't even have a thumbar and it still casts flawlessly =!

LOL i was used a 7ft med heavy abu garcia jordan lee walmart combo for swimbaits it was rated for only 3/4 ounce but it worked also frogged on it it was my use and abuse combo!

Intresting, im leaning towards a loomis rod because ive snapped a few rods flipping and shiman has a one year warranty while the loomis has a lifetime.

So what is the slx with the white greyish wording like the color a lot more than the obnoxious blue

I would probably go Veritas but I felt some of the new Slx rods and there pretty nice.

i agree i love the slx also have the curado 150 and planning on getting the 70.

when im flipping i like to start with a 3/8 tungsten and a beaver on a 4/0 flipping hook, but if i notice a more reaction style bite i will bump up to maybe a half. If they wants something slower i like 3/16 with a slimmer craw with out a lot of action but still has some fall resistance.

It seems a bit over priced at 1000 dollars and you have to charge it and shimano has the slx dc for like 189 so i really dont know.
