If your wanting the most top end speed stick with the three blade and change out to a aftermarket prop from a custom shop. Increase the size and pitch also add cup to the blades. All my merc's run over their listed max rpm's so to correct that you need to increase the size of the prop i.e. go from a 12 inch to 12.5 or 13. To make more speed add more pitch don't go more then 1.5 over what you have now, then run and see if you need more. Add cup to the prop edge it will help reduce slip in turns and also help make a lil more speed. Other then these things the only other things that can be done to make more speed is reduce weight in the boat or reduce the weight of the boat and do engine mods. If it's a merc 2 stroke there are tons of engine mods you can have done. I have a merc 2 stroke 40/60 Bigfoot model that is pushing way past 60 hehehehehe. And my 50 on my tracker is pushing way past 70 hehehehehehe. Powertech proper's are all I use, way better then factory ome prop's. You should know I'm a speed freak lol. Hope this helps you sir.

It happens more with cheap spinnerbaits. Some of the ones Strike king makes don't use very good wire. I use mostly booyah and terminator. It will be fine just keep bending it back, just don't try to use to much force to bend it back are try to bend it to far or it will snap. Titanium wire is the best wire to use on a spinnerbait, try to find you some with that and it shouldn't bend as often. My favorite spinnerbaits or the ones they sell at Wal-Mart that come three to a pack with some trailers I forget who they are made by but they work great just don't last long wire breaks kind of easy.

I see what's wrong with it, it's not in the grease lol. It's just soar's from spawning or a skin infection from its slim being rub's off, it will be fine.

As a owner of a tracker boat let me say this first and hope you will take it as helpful advice, take your money and shop with a diffrent boat company. When they say the price is the same no matter where you go that is false my boat was 1500 dollars cheaper buying it at basspro in bossier then it was buying it at a dealer closer to my house and yes that was for the exact same setup. Also their hatches, lids and hinges don't hold up to wear and tear, now I use my boat alot like every day, so if you don't use it much it may last better. Also you can get whatever you want as for as trolling motors and electronics in the boat if you go with a diffrent company. Tracker as set options on what you can get and it's a arm and leg cost to have them install them, they charge you for the part, labor, freight and shipping, how can you run a buisness and not have inventory on hand to install options asked for. You can spend your money how ever you think is best but I'm just trying to give you something to think off from my experience of dealing with them and owning one for a few years now. If I had to do it over again and buy a new boat I would go with a ranger,nitro are some other brand. Hope this helps you sir.

The strange thing is I hit those same spots the following day mid day matter of fact and caught bass nothing of legel keeping size but I caught them there. Just wasn't holding my mouth open right I guess lol. Had a lil problem while out yesterday cranking battery went down on me and had to use the trolling motor to get back home, that was the longest two mile boat ride I ever took lol. So didn't go last night to try again will be back out this evening hope and pray I got the problem fixed with the battery lol.

Well here is my report from last night's fat girl raid, started at 10 and ended at 4 this morning, fishing alone, started at the old closed down gas station off of 191 where it cross's San Miguel working my way back to my house. Baits used were ribbet frogs and pop r top water baits, crankbaits and rat la trap's, jigs and big worms and lizards T rigged and C rigged. I did not have one bite all nite long not one not on any bait in any of the spots that I tryed that have always produced bass for me. Don't know what the issue was but I got skunked, guess it had to happen sometime, first time I haveever been skunked. Will be back on the water tonight starting at the island's near the state park working my way back to my house.

Nope wouldnt waist my time throwing a 1/2 crome and black back rat la trap or a crome and black back square bill crank for bar fish right there total waist of time hehehehehehe

I'm on San Miguel. I only use two baits at night black and red flake ribbet frog and black and red flake ribben tail worms the bigger the better.

I normally hit the water about a hour to hour and half before dark and fish all night. But tend to see more bigger bass bitting after midnight till daylight. This is just what I have seen and do where I live and fish might be diffrent on diffrent area's of the lake. Hope this helps sir.

Not sure, I know a normal frog rod like what I use with my ribbet frogs is 7'3" and heavy action with a fast tip with 40# PP. If I had to guess I would try to find a spinning rod built like this and pair with a spinning reel that has a high drag setting and high gear ratio as well.

Glenn, You are correct I shouldn't have worded my post to characterize all tournament guys like I did. And not all of them or this way in fact the majority I have meet aren't just a few bad apples here and there.

Lol he had a matching set plus two big flat screen fishfinder's up front and very colorful fishing jersey with all kinds of names on it. Paint on his boat look like it had just finished drying. In the end run he has to live with his actions and I can sleep well tonight knowing I tryed my best to handle the situation with as much class and humility that I could muster. I wasn't always such a nice guy and it has taken years of work to leave such things behind me and looking back on it now it was behavior like this that held me back in life in so many ways. I haven't meet many that act this way but when I do it sure sticks with me. I guess it bothered me more this time because dad was with me, he doesn't get to go fishing or hunting as much as he would like and when we do get to go I try to make the trip about him, it ruined it for him this morning and we just packed it in and head home, he doesn't deal well with this kind of stress and I didn't want to make it worse blowing my top. In the end this too shall pass

Might be posting this in the wrong area and if so mods feel free to move it. I want to ask this question to the members here. What is it with tournament guys and their attitudes towards every day guys out fishing? Maybe it's because the lake I live and fish on I'm not sure but it sure seems like there is a vast majority of guys that come here to fish tourny's that just have the nastiest attitudes. Case in point there is a tourney going on today on the Bend and me and dad was out fishing yesterday evening and seen a boat fishing a spot we like to fish, no problem we went to a few other spots didn't think twice about it. Flash forward to this morning we hit the water trying for some bass on the frog where we seen the boat fishing yesterday evening, nobody around just me and dad doing some fishing and talking, when this boat comes of plane in the boat run and turns and comes straight towards us.. He pulls up next to us and ask us what tourny we are fishing and what club we are with, I tell he we aren't fishing a tourny and we don't belong to any club we are just out doing some fishing. He goes on to say he seen us watching him yesterday and that he thinks it's rude that we are fishing his spot and that we need to leave and he feels any bass we caught in that spot should be turned back because they are his, this is about the time I lose my cool and bust out laughing as loud and hard as I can. I tell him what I think of his thoughts and attitude and where he can go stick himself. He then goes on to tell us if we don't do as he say's he is going to call the warden's on us and have us check and mess up are fishing and get us a ticket, so as calm as I can I use the trolling motor to get my boat next to his and go to hand him my phone. He looks at me all crazy and ask me what I'm handing him my phone for, I tell him you can use my phone to call the warden's and when they get here he can explain why he is harrasing other fishermen. Then explain to him he can get his ticket for that while they are trying to find something to write us a ticket on. He gets all butt hurt to put it politely and guns his motor and haul's butt away. Sorry for going on a rant but what is it with some of these dude's ? Ok rant over deep breath sip of coffee and drag on my cig.

Catt, call around or look online for any mud bog's that were being held in La or Texas the day it was stolen or since it was stolen, more then likely it was or is there at that mud bog. I saved the pic and sending it to my freinds that do the mud bog scene and let them know to be on the look out for this Jeep.

I'm two miles by water from San Miguel park. I live behind Gracies landing on hwy 3229 that road brings you to North Toledo Bend state park. Blue pro crappie with a fat guy slinging a ribbet frog is me come say hi if you see me on San Miguel. I know where your located use to work with a guy at ensco drilling that had a camp back in that area.

Yea it was bad I ended up with three trees down in the yard at my house, I live not two miles from the park. Finally got to get on the water this morning at first light started on some grass and buck brush with the ribbet, me and dad had 11 bass landed by 8 o'clock biggest coming in at 3 pounds, then we went fished some points closer to the parks we fished with watermelon red and junbug, baby brush hogs, T rigged and landed anouther 14 only three of those were legel kepper size. Will be back on the water this evening for the frog bite.

My personal thoughts is if it's bleeding I'm going to eat it ( unless its under 14 inch's then it doesnt matter law says i have to put it back) because it's going to die.

I have noticed when there is a drop in pressure are a steady rise in pressure the bass around my house get lock jaw. When the pressure has been steady for a few days the bite picks back up. The 12 to 24 hour period before a front and a change in pressure is normally a great time to be fishing, bass seem to be super active in that time period. This is just what I have noticed in bass behavior around my house, could it be because of the pressure change I'm not sure but the two do seem to be linked to me. That's my thoughts on it and my thoughts ain't worth much lol.

Trilene big game15# mono is the only mono I use. Trilene knot is all I use on mono. Don't know anything bout that reel, I use Lews reels only.

If fishing from a boat and normal water depth is 12 are less. Bandit 100,200,300 series cranks. Colors- pearl and black back, crome and black back, red crawfish, sunpearch. Rat-al-trap and cotton cordell size- 1/4, 1/2 once Colors- pearl and black back, crome and black back, crome and black back with orange bell, red crawfish, bluegill. This list sum's up 90 % of my cranks and lipless cranks. Hope this helps sir.

Trilene15# for everthing but frogs and punching mats. Frogs and mats I use 40# PP now. Reason being Trilene is cheaper in a big roll then most of the other stuff, it's strong and doesn't get fray up as easy, cast well, holds a dang good knot, and last a long time. I tryed the FC stuff and I couldn't tell the diffrence between it and Trilene when fishing with it, my wallet could though. Only use braid on frogs and punching mats because where I fish the last thing I want to be doing is fighting to get my lure off a stump under the water, I have had very good luck getting unhung with regular mono, but when i tryed braid on cranks and chatterbaits i lost a lot of lures because it would hook them in so deep because it wouldnt stretch. So far me it's a two string system.
