  1. Stained. However, there is something to be said for sight fishing in a gin clear lake. I also like watching the fight from a huge smallie in 25 fow.
  2. X2 on that one.
  3. A buddy of mine used to be the manager of the trip sales. Their salespeople receive $100 for every trip they sell. Thats it.... Not to mention that BPS puts an extremely high quota on the number expected to sell. Basically unattainable. They have done the same thing to the boat sales department which is why you never see the same salesmen their for long. Although i agree that it is an annoyance, remember that they are just trying to make a buck just like us. delcine but please use courtesy.
  4. Is that a Terradactal Leg she is holding? Holy Moses......
  5. This thread made me laugh. Have you guys ever seen the SNL skit about Cork Sucking??? with Jimmy Fallon?? HILARIOUS
  6. Just fish for the deaf ones.....
  7. That fish is going to catch hell from his buddies... "You got caught HOW??"
  8. There is nothing quite like a Huge northern Mi. smallmouth...... Great Article, thanks Glenn
  9. That is the right call on both parties...
  10. I actually just read an article, I believe in the recent In fisherman, that mentioned a grass roots effort to commercially fish the Asian carp and donate meat to relief efforts sucha as that in Haiti and Japan. The article read that they are canning the meat and adding a tomato based sauce. It stated that it had the consistency of a white tuna. If this is correct there could be thousands of people fed. What a phenominal way to turn a negative into a positive.
  11. I have TMJ. Or at least, had it badly in high school and early college. My jaw would pop every time I would open it to the point where I had to menuever my jaw to the side to open it wide. Had to wear a special mouthpiec at night for about 6 months. Luckily I never got LockJaw, which is what it sounds like you have. It can require surgery. Sometimes it is caused by grinding your teeth. Good Luck
  12. Excellent links guys, thanks.. In my case, we just sighted in the muzzleloader and it was touching holes at 50yds. it also has a scope so I think a scoped muzzleloader will give him much more of an advantage over a bead sight .410 when the buck fever starts the shakes. Although, I must admit, we fired the .410 out to 50 yds using Brennke, Winchester, and Remington slugs using the bead sights and the gun performed better than I expected. It achieved a good grouping at 50 yds with all three cartridges but the Brennke's had the best groupings. If I was in a thick spot with bow ranges I would use the .410. It was light to carry, sufficiently accurate, and actually fun to shoot.
  13. He is dead on with his estimated costs. I had my steering cables replaced about two years ago (from a solid mechanic) and the cost was over $700. My guy is honest and very reasonable when it comes to pricing. In fact, had I listened to Way2Slow sooner I would have converted to hydraulic. The work was all but done when I asked about it and couldn't pay for them to disassemble what they had just put into my boat. Next time I will definately have it changed over.
  14. LMAO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian Kelly is a good coach. He left every Cincinnati fan with hatred in their eyes and an entire city wishing him ill will. However, at some point, the Golden Domes will shine. I question his recruiting abilities though. All his success in Cincy was with Dantonio's recruits. time will tell but loyal Notre Dame fans may not have enough patience
  16. I also was wondering if he had any pull at BASS and if he did, what his take on this matter would be. He built it from ground zero on merit and sportsmalike competition. Its funny, I often wonder what some of the founding tournament anglers opinions are of todays tournament trail ? Guys like hibdon, Dance, Nixon, who are still associated to some degree as well as some of the original guys. Is it like hearing from the old time ball players reveling about the good ol days and how it was actually better back then? I would be curious to hear some interviews from them "off the record"
  17. A-RODs cousin was seen at the team hotel this season..... A-Roid might have gotten him the hookup......... He wanted to stay in Detroit and be a lifer. They traded him to save money.....
  18. Maybe the tigers can redeem themselves after their dismal performance in 06. Verlander wins AL Cy young hands down.... And, although I love the Tigers and think Jackson is a good CF. They NEVER should have traded Granderson Go Tigers!!!!!!
  19. Turn it on its side, NOW, its a "C" shaped tube..........
  20. By all means take a look. I would definately have it looked at by a certified mechanic to give the engine a detailed once over. Also, if it has been kept outside I would look the flooring and for any cracks etc. Also check the tires and straps, they could have some dry rot

I would say you have too heavy a line weight. I LOVE the PopR! My setup is a 6'6-7 St.Croix with 12lb Pline. Or, a heavy action spinning rod with 8-10lb mono. Do NOT use flouro for topwater as the line sinks and will kill the action of the lure.
  22. If the Lions fair better than 8-8 that WOULD be considered a Super Bowl type season. They haven't won 8 games in the last 3 seasons combined...... However, (and I can't believe I am saying this) this is the beginning of the turnaround for the Lions. Their only drawback will be William Clay Ford Sr.
  23. Detroit Lions 0 - 16 nuff said.........
