Frogg Toggs
I have two sets of them. I love em. They definately are not for severe weather with cold, but spring, fall, and summer they are great. I have played in the snow with them (winter football game) and have never had a rip or hole. That is a great price to get them for. Sometimes at Bps

Beautiful color. St. Clair and Erie smallies have the most amazing bronzing color. Miss them..... Nice Job Dwight. Just out of curiosity, how far of a run is it from the mainland to the bass islands?

Poison Oak !!! Ahhhhhhhh ! :-O
I had a buddy growing up that couldn't even stand near it. Just the oil in the air would cause an outbreak. Crazy. If he would cut grass and go over it with the mower = DONE. We worked that summer on a golf course and he looked like a pink polka dotted idiot most of the summer. I have heard that tobacco leaves can cure it. Don't know if it works but I heard it somewhere. It spreads from the oils so keeping it dry is key. Even sweating can cause the oil to run down your arm causing the spreading.

Great Deal On Senkos!
There are many like it but only one true "Senko" I have found that all other brands do not have the same salt content and this causes them to sink slower. Not saying they are bad just not the same. Kinda like drinking Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb. Same but different

Cell Phones......worth The Aggravation?
Unfortunately, the modern tech age is contributing to the stupidization, yes that is now a word, of society. Students no longer know what a dewey decimal system, dictionaries, etc. are because they can just push a button. What this is actually doing is causing our generation to become reliant on technology and have no actual basic skills. How many people these days (young adults) could do simple tasks that were staples of the older generation such as change your own oil, change a spare tire, draft a grammatically correct letter complete with proper diction. Heck, even writing a complete sentance is fading away because of texting. Sad really...

Armco Park Cincinnati
My suggestion for practicing launching and trailering your boat would be: Do not "practice" on the weekends unless it is REALLY early or REALLY late in the day. From about 9am-6pm on the weekends you do not want to be practicing at the ramp. If you want to do that pick a week day or late evening when there is no ramp traffic. Boaters who practice at the launch on the weekends simply slow doan the process and frustrate seasoned anglers and boaters. With minimal practice, you should be able to get your boat launched in less than 6 minutes. I can do it in about 5 by myself. Good luck. Also, if you are practicing, make sure you are at a ramp that is fairly flat. This will make it easier to get the boat in the water and back on the trailer.

Spark Plug Brands
The motor is a 96 Johnson 150. Sorry. My question was I have seen ads for Champion and other brands I just was curious is one is better than the other. Kinda like cola, you have coke, pepsi, RC, and big K. All are colas but is one better than the other?

Thinking of going Pinnacle
So far so good. I have had a few backlashes with it but with any reel that doesn't have a dual braking system that is to be expected. I have been fairly impressed with its smoothness. I will keep you posted.

When will a lady angler haver her own fishing show?
I have seen the Kim Bayne show, I thought it was well done There was another show featuring a woman who was a professional hunter in Africa. The show featured her hunting and fishing all over the world. I cannot for the life of me remember her name. She was blonde, pretty, and was a heck of a good shot. the show ran for about two seasons. The sport needs a marketable face before they put a show around someone. Unfortunately, there hasn't been too many women who have had a huge impact or had the personality to carry a show. I am not saying there isn't a lot of qualified women, they just haven't found the right person yet. They would need someone with a personality that could "muck" it up with the guys, talk smack, etc. and be camera friendly. I would watch, heck I have been watching Charlie Moore for Gods sake..........

Brookville would definately be another place to go. Great lake Are you fishing from a boat or from shore? Wading or canoeing the little miami river is great for smallmouth as well. Birdy, Do you fish the local lakes? I grew up terrorising west chester. actually my sister still lives there. I almost bought a house there in Feb. but we chose Shaker run.

Crushed Em On Saginaw Bay
NICE JOB!!! That area can be dynamite with the right conditions. You hit the jackpot on conditions. I have never seen the charities that calm either. Oh I do miss those bay trips. Were you on the east or west side of the islands?

Spark Plug Brands
I am not a mechanic so I will leave this question to the group: Is there a noticeable difference in spark plug brands? I recently changed the spark plugs in my boat (which were champion). When I went to purchase them at auto zone they gave me NGKs and said this was the replacement spark plug for my champion brand. What is the difference? They look the same except the NGKs have a threaded end and the Champions are flat. Does one brand produce more spark??

Armco Park Cincinnati
Are you from the area? Ceasars Creek would be my first suggestion because it is the closest lake around that part of the woods. Cowan lake can also be a good bet early in the day. With ALL of the local Cincinnati lakes, go early. You do not want to be at the ramp on the weekends around noon or late in the afternoon. Get there early and be gone before the idiots arrive.
