  2. Question: Is it possible to modify your existing trailer into a swing away trailer? What would be the problems? Load capacity? etc.? I recently purchased a house that may or may not be able to store my boat in the garage. Just curious if it could be done...
  3. I am going to start the thread asking: Is it better to use a Hummingbird side imaging or the Lowrance side scan with this vessel?????? :

Actually, I thought that it was Ben Affeleck, not Matt Damon. And, you are correct, gonna be hard to beat a movie with the Duke. The last decent western was Open Range with costner.
  7. A bit pricey but RiversWest is the best waterproof product I have ever used. It comes with a 10year warranty on any product. If you are buying their hunting bibs/parka they do not breathe much so doing a lot of hiking can get hot. However, it is a high density fleece material that is totally wind and water proof. Extremely warm in the coldest wettest conditions. Highly recommend them
  8. LOL. I apologize to the thread for my complete and utter stupidity....... Thread Title: NOVEMBER JERKBAITS Awesome fish as always
  9. The Tigers and the Reds lost another legend. Sparky, say hello to Ernie and the old Left Hander form me. Godspeed.......
  10. Those are PIGS. Nice fish. Presentation? trolling, tubes, cranks, ????
  11. WOOOAaahh That actually freaked me out at my computer.
  12. Just fished Brookville a few days ago. Water temps in the high 50s low 60s. Baitfish were all over the shallow creek arms in the millions. I got shut out but was fishing in someones boat and we fished quite a bit of non productive water IMO. Creek arm just to the left of the dam ramp was teeming with baitfish and I would have liked to spend some more time in there. Good luck
  13. 1. You can go online and get the practice tests. 2. Danger zone starts a 41F 3. Study 4. Re-read the section on cross contamination 5. Study 6. Learn the food-borne vs. Bacteria borne 7. Study You should do fine.....
  14. I can't believe someone in Landen didn't call the National Guard for possible terrorist attack. Residents around that lake are a little stuffy in my experience. On another note, how was the fishing? I used to fish that lake a lot when I was a teen before they drained it
  15. That is terrible. My prayers to the families
  16. If you are going to S Wisconsin you may want to look in to a bit larger boat or maybe a V hull. If you are looking at Trackers tray a Targa. Many of the lakes in the Northern areas like Mi. Wi. Minn etc. are larger lakes. With the Great lakes not far you may want to hit the bigger waters as well. The smaller trackers can be taken out on these lakes in good weather but you'll wish you had the deep v if a wind storm pops up. Just a thought.
  17. Congrats!! Excellent choice everyone BTW Mr. New moderator, I'm thinking of starting a thread on the Banjo Minnow and was wondering if you had any objections?????
  18. Jazzy I fish until and even when there is snow on the ground and Ice on the waters. Then "she" gets a good lubing, along with many of the items Rhino mentioned. Dont forget the SeaFoam or Stabil for your tank in Michigan winters.
  19. Took the words right out of my mouth!!!!!!!! :-? ;D ;D
  20. I have a 96 Stratos with a 150 and she tops out at 63. 17.9ft. Not to sound rude but, How big are you?? that may play a role in you speed
  21. If all else fails, catch as many perch as you can (legally) and enjoy a fantastic fish fry. Dredge perch in buttermilk and Drakes batter (the key is wet, dry, wet, dry, FRY) A few lemon slices Ice cold Beer. Enjoy
  22. Are you looking at Mott Lake or the area that has many small ponds created by the flooding of the Flint River? The area where your pin is at is part of "The Mounds" This is the local 4x4 trail park located off of Mt. morris road. There are many small ponds in the park. Most have LB, Pike, panfish. Some of the deeper may have walleye and yes they should have SMB as well. The Flint river impoundments of Holloway, and Mott lake are full of smallmouth bass. If you want walleye try heading a bit east just below the Holloway Dam off of M15(state road). This is a hotspot for walleye in the spring and fall. If you are referring to Mott lake, now is the time for bass. Spring is even better. Summer is tough here as the average depth is only about 7ft. and the water warms very quickly. Pm me if you need some more info. I live about 2 miles from that area and have fished it many times.
  23. Jazzy try to contact Pat Gallaher 810-730-1154. They may be done for the year though. I think they only ran about 5-7 tourneys this year. Most in mid michigan on lakes like Sanford, Wixom, the Bay, and a few near Flint.
