Possible World Record Crappie

I was sent this picture while on leave, supposidly this crappie was caught out of Kerr Reservoir out of NC....7lbs was said to be the weight but no word from NC WLRC or IGFA?????

I believe the fish was in the 4lb range and was caught last year sometime. Still a huge crappie though.

I caught one like that it was the size of a 5 gallon bucket lid. I was fishing on a full moon phase with a front comming in. I love fishing by the moon phases.(mauri charts)

Don't know if this is confirmation that it was from Kerr/Buggs or not, but someone I work with who is from the area showed me the picture on his phone and swore it was 8 lbs. Would think it would make news like the Blue Cat from last summer if it really were a big time record. Nice fish, though.
