Need Advice On Spinning Set Up

Featured Replies

So Ive thrown in the towel with my baitcasting set up, st croix avid/AG revo. I just cant get use to the way it feels in my hand. So Im looking to go back to a spinning combo. The rod doesnt have to be an st croix avid, but I would like something on that end of the spectrum. I dont want to down grade. I mainly fish with plastics. What rod would you reccomend and what reel? I havent bought a spinning reel in decades.

Im looking for a few good suggestions.

Thanks guys,

Justin

I'm going to hit up cabelas tonight. I just keep getting this feeling that I don't have to spend 150 on a rod to get a good one. Hell my ugly stick catches fish all the time. Is there anything I should go out of my way to look at?
