Shaw Grigsby Rod

Featured Replies

I was watching Shaw Grigsby's fishing show the other day and I notice that at the end of every one his signature rods, he has a big yellow ball attached to it? What is the purpose of that "thing"?

It is called a Cush-it. It is made my LunaSea.

It helps too keep the rod from digging into your side and if the rod goes over then it floats "butt" up.

I was at one of Shaw's seminars recently and he couldn't say enough good about them. He told of a story about his rods going overboard during a tourney and he didn't know it until he turned around. The rods with the Cush-it were floating and the others were at the bottom. He ended up snagging another rod or 2 from the bottom, but the Cush-its where at the top and recovered quickly.

Here is the website. http://www.lunaseasports.com/ Although it doesn't seem to be working correctly right now.

They are really nice. They weight NOTHING!!!
