As far as hooks go use what you like. However when keel weighting, the preferred hook will be the Moaner Stroker 1/4 oz weighted. Big O ( for those that don't know creates the Ragetail product line) had input on the Stroker hook design.

This is all good info and Thanks BassinNY! For a fact, there are other rigging styles that are effective with RT's and many folks here at BR have mentioned their preferences in a variety of situations that were useful.

We have been doing very well with the weighted swim bait hook and the rage craw.

1/8oz-1/4oz weighted screwlock hook and I can fish the anaconda, craw, space monkey, eeliminator, lizard, shad, whatever.....without retying. I <3 RageTail
